Gameday Thread: Cowboys @ Texans

We're in the same position we started against the Redskins with.
We get field goals, they get touchdowns.
 
This is a young, questionable secondary. But any secondary can look bad when the front four can't get pressure on the QB. And a questionable secondary with no pass rush has no chance.
 
So far this game has been too big for them. No defense and two false starts on offense at home. Give me a break.

The Texans have admitted this much:
It's hard to get pressure, when guys are running free
on the secondary.
 
I think the most surprising thing about this game is that Doug Free is holding his own against Mario Williams. That was the key IMO. If the 1st year starter could hold his own against Mario Williams and so far so good. The Cowboys may have a player in Free. No sacks this season allowed by him.
 
man this secondary looks like it's going to be a major millstone around our necks throughout the season.
 
Nothing we won't overcome... we'll go down, score a touchdown, be up 10 - 7 at half, and make the adjustments to get pressure on Romo when we have them 3rd and long. Patience Grasshoppers :)
 
Gotta get a td(or at least a fg before half time) then come out in the second, march down the field and get a TD.
 
Man, that drive was painful. No pressure on Romo, and a load of space for their WR's.

We need to start jamming their receivers a bit and get more physical. As for the pass rush, theres just nothing there at all.

Time to step it up offense!
 
I can't believe how useless Slaton has become. I had really high hopes for him this year. Hopefully he can pick up his come and become a threat again.
 
Our D was poor on that drive but they have been quite good for the half. They have only given up one score. The problem is that our offense hasn't got it going yet.

Yup...he's running like its gone out of fashion. No vision, no pace, no chance. Hope he can figure it out, cause at the moment he just does not look a shade of the old Stevie.
 
OMG! Foster run play goes for 10+ yards. Who would've thunk our run game is actually effective, the way that Dennison been avoiding it like a plague.
 
Foster looking good again, would be a nice 1-2 if slaton was the other half to our rushing offence.

Needs to get his head out his ass and play like he did in his first season

And why the hell are we passing more than running; when we're the #1 rushing offense in the league? I thought Kubiak wants to be a running team.

Oh look, another sack. We're passing more with a 2nd-string LT playing in his first game of the season. Jeez louise.
