Game. Day. Thread. Texans @ Jaguars

Couple of first half observations I couldn't avoid making.

When a team runs the ball like the Jags are doing today on the Texans that's the NFL equivalent of saying "You're a bunch of ******* and we know you can't stop us". We did it to the Colts in week one. When they succeed at it that's the NFL equivalent of them being right. Our defense is so pitiful.

Second, there's a reason why Troy Nolan doesn't start even though he's younger, faster, and probably stronger than Wilson. Troy Nolan is stupid. We draft a lot of those guys. Bad football instincts feature prominently along with just sheer stupidity like hitting a guy out of bounds and then bringing him down so far past the sideline that you tackle him on top of the yard marker. He's another athlete with measurable athletic ability that enticed our coach and GM with his possible upside.
 
Wow, just embarassing. The first offensive series looked great, what happened? This team looks less 'inspired' than the Cowpokes today.

Kubes no longer has the faith of his team, he's lost them.
 
I turned it on the RedZone now. This is just too much. If the Jags do this to us, the Jets will rip us a new one...again.

Not against the Jags, who are running the ball at will.
In the fourth quarter, it will be ALL Jacksonville

Look for the Jags to put the game away on 20-consecutive
handoffs to MJD, just like last year.

I could see it now.. Roy Schneider shoveling chum out over the side of the boat, then he sees the texan logo swimming in the water... then the famous lines "we are going to need a bigger facepalm"

I never thought I would say this, but it might be time for me to whip out the soap...

If we lose this game I'll have no problem sporting a piece of rainbow soap, heck, stick a unicorn in it too. I'll cress up as a clown, balloons and all, and parade the thing up and down the street...

I'm not even sure anyone's calling plays atm, I know we've heard about player strikes... right now I think the coaches are striking...

You are correct sir. We look like crap so far, though. Our game plan has been extremely poor.
 
Del Rio found something that works and keeps going to it. Is Kubiak ever the best coach on the field? How can this guy be so irreplaceable?
 
Wheres tk....cant wait ti hear his rosy commentary for kubes on this one......that guy always finds the best side of everything....i need to hear this

He signed a new contract through 2016 (and in reality closer to 2014). He has no ability to go anywhere. He can demand a trade, but I wouldn't do it unless I got great value in return. I would force him to either play for us or sit out. If he sits out he loses money.

AJ has no way to leave.
 
Could the second coach from Texas be fired after this week? It looks like the players have quit on Kubiak, like they did on Phillips. Sad state of affairs. I just want my team to WIN! We are FREAKING CURSED!:panic::brickwall::crying::sos:

You think you can get a big name coach in the middle of the season? Why? A big name coach will wait until other jobs are available and determine the one they want or increase the $. If you aren't looking for a big name, who would your turn the team over to? Bush?!!! Dennison?! Neither of them deserve to be HC.
 
Who said we weren't being outcoached?????? Our scripted play charts suck monkey balls. Why the he'll don't we establish the run? Why? Because dennison or kubiak just loveeeeeeessssss to be cute. Get the heck out of here with that. Run the ball, keep your d confident and fresh.

And to those of you who was saying the run hasn't worked: we never got it jump started. We quickly became predictable. They need to commit to the run, early.

They know the Texans will stop running after a couple no gains. Once
the Texans get down, they don't run at all.

All teams know we're SOFT.

ya looking real bad right now... they have half a game to save the season. cant believe the jags are stopping us- both in the air and the ground. D startin to stink it up now aswell. another week, another huge hole smh this team lookin like cowboys lite

Yeah. I don't think anything happens before the end of this season. We'll just be seeing a lot of :facepalm: :wadepalm: :mariopalm: :kubepalm: until then.
