On Monday, September 9th at 6:10 pm CST, Your Houston Texans will be in New Orleans to take on the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The game will be aired on TV on ESPN and on KILT AM Sports Radio 610.
This should be a fun game to kick off the Texans season on Monday Night Football in Prime Time. I'm fully expecting a high flying, high scoring affair. I don't think O'Brien is going to go into this game with a conservative game plan. I think he's going to try to get off to a fast start in this one and score first. We shall see.

The Texans will be fielding an improved offense with the additions of Laremy Tunsil at Left Tackle, Running Backs Duke Johnson and Carlos Hyde and Wide Receiver Kenny Stills. It's unknown of Will Fuller and Keke Coutee will play as of yet, but the offense should still be able to move the ball and score with regularity with all of the other weapons they have on hand for Watson to get the ball to. If Fuller and Coutee are available, that much better.
The defense, particularly the secondary, will still be a question mark. And with Clowney no longer in the mix, we'll just have to wait and see what Romeo will dial up and if they'll be effective at slowing Drew Brees and the New Orleans offense. Hopefully, the Texans offense can score enough to keep the game slightly out of reach of Brees and his offense.
This should be a high flying, high scoring game. Let's see if Watson can lead this Texans team to a season opening Monday night victory. I'll say yes he can just because of the homer in me.
