That's a solid draft.

4 playmakers, Philly has an infusion of young talent on defense.

Best will be the best playmaking RB in this draft if he can stay healthy.

Via PM: Texan4ever's Arizona Cardinals Select:

If I'm not there to make the pick, the Cardinals have back-to-back selections so here is my list:

1.) George Selvie, OLB/DE, South Floria

george-selvie.jpg

2.) Reshad Jones, S, Georgia

90.) Dallas Cowboys - Kaiser Toro

91.) San Diego Chargers - steelbtexan

92.) Cleveland Browns - Honoring Earl 34

93.) Minnesota Vikings - Honoring Earl 34

94.) Indianapolis Colts - Shaft75

95.) New Orleans Saints - Texan4Ever

96.) Cincinnati Bengals - Ole Miss Texan

97.) Tennessee Titans - steelbtexan

98.) Atlanta Falcons - RMartin65

Thank you Super Mario, if anyone cares to read my reasoing here it is:

George Selvie had an up and down career but has a ton of upside and can develop into a 3-4 OLB.

Reshad Jones is rated as a 2nd or 3rd round prospect and will replace Antrell Rolle who was lost to FA. A productive player who can hit hard even through he is only 6'2" 210-lbs.

With the 91st pick the Dallas Cowboys take Riley Cooper, WR, Florida

340x.jpg

I was targeting WR here. I considered Ford, Shipley & Briscoe. I am not a fan of Gator WRs historically, but Cooper does not fit the profile of past Gator products in my opinion. Moreover, he is arguably the best WR blocker, can and will play special teams, been part of championship football and is a two sport athlete at a high level. Lastly, he should create some buzz for Jerry given his Oklahoma roots and that he was drafted by the Rangers.

He's a good prospect , I've read where he's a great athelete . I noticed you jumped about 8 guys on my list to get him . I'm thinking since he was Tebow's roommate , your looking for some Lucy Pinder pictures .

Nice. He was the one guy that always stood out to me offensively, from a scale standpoint, in the games I watched. I believe he is going to be a player.

He was about the 6th WR on my board too, behind some that I consider to be pretty good prospects.... time will tell as always.

92.) Cleveland Browns - Honoring Earl 34

93.) Minnesota Vikings - Honoring Earl 34

94.) Indianapolis Colts - Shaft75

95.) New Orleans Saints - Texan4Ever

96.) Cincinnati Bengals - Ole Miss Texan

97.) Tennessee Titans - steelbtexan

The Cleveland Browns take Mike Johnson OG . The Browns have needs on the right side of their OL . Johnson can play guard or OT , plus he's tough as nails and a leader . That gives the lowly Browns 3 players who have won a national championship FWIW .

Brown's draft

Joe Haden cb
Nate Allen fs
Tim Tebow qb
Torrell Troup dt
Mike Johnson g

The Indianapolis Colts select Donovan Warren, CB Michigan

gi08.jpg

I was gonna grab him with Philly but I just think with his speed issues he belonged in a cover 2 scheme. Perfect fit for Indy.

Nice pick Shaft75, Warren has fallen a lot in the draft and some have him as a mid-round pick at best. If he goes to the Colts and coach him up, he would make an excellent replacement for Marlin Jackson (also a UMICH alum).

The Saints add to their defense which already includes Brandon Graham and Eric Norwood, with Darren Sharper still listed as a FA the Saints roll the dice and take a gamble on...

Kurt Coleman

Coleman_INT_vs._Troy.jpg

He is a bit shorter then you prefer but had a productive career at Ohio State and capped off his Senior year with 68 total tackles and 5 INTs.

*Sorry for the huge pic, I don't know how to make it smaller*

Thanks. He was a productive player on a crappy football team. Maybe a change of scenery, being on a good team, and some coaching up(as you said) will help turn it around. He just seems more talented than a mid rounder IMO.

Is it me or is there still a full round of good players left?

Yea, I was going through my draft board and there are several solid players still there, some people reached others went with where actual players are projected so because of this there are a number of good players available at key positions.

96.) Cincinnati Bengals - Ole Miss Texan

97.) Tennessee Titans - steelbtexan

98.) Atlanta Falcons - RMartin65

With the 97th pick in the NFL Mock Draft the Tacks of Possum Holler select A.J. Eads OLB Iowa.

Eads is a very solid OLb who is great in coverage and also can be physical in the run game. Eads is a very underrated guy who just always is in the right spot and is a playmaker.

Sorry for the delay in this pick I was tied up this morning but seem to be back on track.

Good job guys. On to round 4!

Round 4

99.) St. Louis Rams - beerLover

100.) Detroit Lions - kiwitexansfan

101.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - beerLover

102.) Kansas City Cheifs - Kaiser Toro

103.) Washington Redskins - Shaft75

Like others have said, some really good players here in the 4th. Wish we had an extra 3rd or 4th to do some damage.

Would you be willing to give up a 2011 2nd or 3rd for a 2010 3rd or 4th?

Thats one way to get the pick you seek.

St. Louis Rams waste no time selecting 6062 264 TE Rob Gronkowski, Arizona with #99 selection -
RobGronkowski.jpg

After receiving a clean bill of health by the Rams (Gronkowski underwent a microdisectomy, that's where doctors shave off the disc that sticks out into spinal cord). Rob was clearly BPA this late in the draft for a roster not excatly loaded @ TE, Daniel Fells returning as starter, back-ups Billy Bajema & Darcy Johnson. Big Red Zone target for Bradford who used Jermaine Greshham (also did not play last year) in similar capacity @ Oklahoma. Gives perimeter support off edge in pass pro & excellent run blocking for Dwyer/Jackson. If he can stay healthy this is quite possibly the steal of the draft.

The Lions continue to strengthen their Defense by taking a player to fill the MLB spot.

Out of Washington, Donald Butler, MLB.

Washington+State+v+Washington+rqjsdWP7vh-l.jpg

Easily the best ILB left on the board, has some impressive physical attributes and is also a team leader, he is not a sure thing, but he is a significant upgrade for the Lions at the MLB spot.

Great pick BL

I like how you are focusing on improving the Rams offense.

Protecting your investment in Bradford and giving himm some weapons to work with is the right thing to do. IMHO

If Devaney is smart he will follow the path that your going down.

Great draft BL

You got the guy that I was hoping would fall to the Tacks.
