That was actually good, lol.
He's done this for years.............his ego can only accept praise............he doesn't want to hear from anyone who may be critical.Welcome to the party Browns fans View attachment 12691
Sorry, that’s incorrect. After all, Watson assured the media after the game, “There was no contact with the ref.” My mistake, the contact was with the umpire; the ref was just the guy he was screaming at. That’s the kind of legal nuance you pick up on when you’ve had to settle 30 lawsuits with women accusing you of everything from forced groping to forced oral sex.
Maybe sitting out 2 years, traveling to Europe between depositions, isn't great for your football career?Man I could not foresee Watson playing this horrible after the trade. He really looked pretty good for the Texans, I haven’t actually watched the browns at all so not sure what is happening differently. I hope they start him all year for the Texans best chance of a high draft pick.

Not the same player. Not as instinctual, as quick twitched, as poised. I'm no expert in this, but he doesn't even look the same in his facial expressions or the way he moves. Like he's walking around with a 200 lb boulder on his back. Just different, totally different. When you have Stroud training with the WRs right before TC and Watson taking his offense on a vacation instead of doing the same thing, I knew it wasn’t going to end well. It seems once Watson got paid, football has been the last thing on his mind.
That 200lb boulder might be his conscience weighing on him.Not the same player. Not as instinctual, as quick twitched, as poised. I agree. He doesn't look like the same guy in any way. I do think this whole thing has taken its toll on his psyche.
I'm also of the opinion that BOB may have gotten more out of Watson than I gave him credit for. He let DW be DW.
Bring out of football for two years has hurt him too.
While being out of football for a while is not ideal, his mechanics are off. Anyone who works with Quincy Avery, does not look good for very long. Also, when you do bad things and not sure if you have silenced ALL of the accusations (he hasn’t), he’s constantly going to be thinking about if his entire assaultive behavior is ever completely found out. He will never have peace, and every single game he will hear about it from defenses.Bring out of football for two years has hurt him too.

That argument that you've made at the end doesn't hold water. He is now a big part of this game planning and play calling. All the bad that is going on now points right back to him.I agree. He doesn't look like the same guy in any way. I do think this whole thing has taken its toll on his psyche.

It seems to me that Sefanski is trying to tame a wild mustang. They are taking the hero ball out of him, and that's his game.
I think if this has any chance of working, they need to go back to square one. Look at his Texans tape and build the offense around those concepts.
No question. But I really thought that was the excuse for last year, and he'd make a big jump with a normal offseason and training camp, etc.
It's early still and not ruling out a big jump...but I really doubt it. I think the die is cast and he's toast.
A good laxative would be much cheaper and more effective! The HC will be fired and will be the target for all the blame. A new HC will come in. Maybe Bieniemy to get the most out of Watson.
Well then

A suspension for on-field actions could be very expensive for Deshaun Watson
His contract has language that could let Browns escape future guarantees.www.nbcsports.com
Hate to root for the Titans, but that's where I'm at today as the travel to Cleveland.
SMHYou got it backwards. I never used god to besmirch your character. I used your character to besmirch your god.
TrashQuincy Avery on twitter threatening to slap Browns fans lol
I agree with some NFL owners wanting Cleveland to have to pay the guaranteed money but also believe the NFL does not want Watson out of the league at this timeLooks like the quitter has an escape plan in place.
The rookie looked good in the preseason, let's see how he does when it counts.Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will miss today’s game with a right shoulder injury.
Watson took part in pregame warmups, threw a few short passes, consulted with team medical staffers and coaches, and walked off the field. Shortly after, multiple reports said Watson will be inactive today.
With Watson out, rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson will get the first start of his NFL career. Thompson-Robinson, a fifth-round draft pick, impressed in the preseason, and now he’ll get a chance to show what he can do in a very big AFC North battle against the Ravens.

Watson, as I expected, is ruled out for today's game. The internet medical injury experts all stated that his shoulder was a simple superficial shoulder soft tissue bruise.............that there was no rotator cuff or labrum damage.........and therefore he would play. Watching the play in which he was injured, as I originally stated, it was a perfect mechanism for a rotator cuff deep shoulder bruise..........and even if he tried to play, he would be significantly negatively affected and could extend his injury.
