Not entering threads is also an option for members, too.

There's this neat little feature called a "title" that lets you know what thread is about so you can avoid it. For instance, I've never been in a soccer or country music thread.

I thought this was supposed to be a I Hate Watson thread. It's why I post in it. I hope Watson experiences horrible things in life, gets struck by lightning, and eventually ends up playing for the Jets. And his dog bites him. And then when we say he's snakebit, it's because he really got bit by a snake. And UFO's kidnap him and do horrible things.

newsflash buddy he’s already “gotten away” it…whatever in the hell that means..

and what does it make you that you & others keep on with the crap?

There are a whole lot of other CURRENT POS you can direct your efforts towards..1 of which has a televised trial going on in the state of Texas. Go start a thread about him.

you tout your relationship with god as being a centerpiece of your life…maybe u should tap into that relationship regarding this….

Matthew 7.1
If you're going to quote Bible and mods allow you to get away with it, quote all that applies adding 7.2 and John 7:24.

Now the thread will be locked.

DW4 made the difference in tonights game. Pick 6 first play of game then sack fumble for touchdown in own redzone late in 4th qtr.
He sucks and now that Chubb got hurt the Browns pick may be a top 10 pick. Derrick was the best player the Steelers had tonight.

Trading him was the best thing that ever could have happened to the Texans org.

I think we're going to find out BOB did as good a job as could possibly be done with this POS.

Add several batted bolls, several additional near interceptions, a strip sack fumble returned for a TD and 2 face mask grab and hold penalties. His receivers saved him from several otherwise poorly thrown passes.

Steelers S Minkah Fitzpatrick is being evaluated in hospital for a chest injury. It may be that they are seeing if he sustained a collapsed lung from the hit.

Oh, BTW, for those who watched the game, Watson somehow was not ejected when he forcefully shoved the official's arm out of his way for no reason other than no self control when things weren't going his way......the same as the purposeful grabs of the face masks. Hope that Haslim is enjoying his prize perversion possession, because next year is the year that Watson's cap number rockets......and his cap hit of $64 million will not be able to be effectively manipulated like it has been the last 2 years.

His behavior will continue to get worse as things get worse. And as detective Baker said, this guy is capable of much worse.

"Deshaun Watson’s 25 expected points lost to turnovers and sacks is a jaw-dropping number. That number is in the bottom 1st percentile since 2018, and he also lost an additional 5.3 expected points on non-fumble designed runs and scrambles, including two 15-yard penalties for grabbing an opponent’s facemask. Watson generated some value through the air, but was inaccurate generally (-7.5% CPOE) and hasn’t shown any signs of breaking out of his post-suspension slump. I’m not closing the book on Watson returning to the elite form we saw from 2017-2020, but if he continues to play this way, the Browns combination of trade value and contract given away to acquire Watson will go down as one of the worst personnel moves in NFL history."

This is yet another case of stats lying. Derrick was terrible, best player the Steelers had. If you look at those stats they say he was avg to slightly above avg. Like I said many times before Derrick's a coach killer.

BTW, The Browns have a really good defense this yr. Schwartz has really made a difference.

How many average QBs have all the self inflicted wounds that I listed above?

Deshaun Watson rattled; negative plays torment Browns in Pittsburgh – Terry Pluto’s Scribbles

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Scribbles in my notebook after the Browns lost 26-22 in Pittsburgh:

  1. I find it hard to watch Deshaun Watson. Maybe that will change. Maybe Watson will pull himself together and look like a good NFL quarterback. But right now, there are too many plays where he seems rattled and panicked. There are times where he’s running around behind the line of scrimmage, and it’s causing far more confusion than broken plays leading to big gains.
  2. I’m not talking about his outrageous contract. I’m not in the camp that for Watson to be “worth it” to the Browns, he needs to take them to the Super Bowl – soon. But Browns fans have a right to expect competent quarterback play from Watson. And yes, more composure from a quarterback who is a veteran.
  3. The first Cleveland play of the game was a pass from Watson to backup tight end Harrison Bryant. You probably can make the case that Bryant should have caught the ball. It went off his fingertips. But it was a short pass, thrown high. What should have been a relatively easy play for Bryant became harder because the pass wasn’t accurate.
  4. And as things usually happen when the Browns play in Pittsburgh, the pass wasn’t simply an interception. It was picked off and run into the end zone on the first play of the game.
  5. Here’s the second guess, and perhaps it’s a cheap one :The Browns had eight days to prepare for this game – and their first play was a pass to the backup tight end? It also was a pass out of an empty backfield, meaning the Browns didn’t even look like they would run the ball. Bryant played little in training camp because of illness. It just seemed … odd. Then when it failed miserably, I found myself saying, “Can you believe this?”
  6. I know, the story of the game was the season-ending injury to Nick Chubb. He had 64 yards in 10 carries. The Steelers were tormented by the man called “Mr. Chubb.” That comes from Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin, and it’s a term of respect. Yes, had Chubb stayed healthy, the Browns would have won this game.

Watson saying he didn’t know there was unwanted contact. Hmmm. Where have I seen this before…

Btw - if you are going to lie never touch your face or cover your mouth. Body language experts would agree.

There was nothing "incidental" about it. But, it's the NFL, which is known for its backasswardness.

It's not backasswardness.......it's trying to preserve viewership which either wants high profile QB Watson to turn things around...........or preserve viewership for train wrecks. The NFL has gone from protecting Watson from real football justice, which is an embarrassment in itself to protecting their investment in the Browns. Watson, Haslam and Goodell make up the perfect NFL crime syndicate.

I'd like to report this post for using the word "stat" to describe QBR.

I think this is exactly my problem with QBR. DW4 has a higher QBR that CJ Stroud even though Stroud has more yards, a higher completion rate, the same number of touchdowns, 0 interceptions to 2 interceptions, the same number of fumbles.

I mean, sure, CJ has 11 sacks, but DW4 has 9. And wouldn't those 15 yard penalties count against DW4?

But they've decided to grade DW4 higher?

For real! The guy is starting to remind me of that "leave Brittany alone!" guy from back in the day.

This is what happens when the player that you're a fan of turns out to be a Perv. Dont talk about him and hope he goes away. Where have I seen this playbook used before?

One has to be careful using QBR. I've noticed the acronym being misused quite frequently. QBR is a rating system/stat originally developed and used by ESPN. To accurately use or quote it, one should go to the ESPN site.

Watson's QBR for game 1 was 55.4; for game 2 was 16.5; and overall for the season is 29.3.

Stroud's QBR for game 1 was 25.1; for game 2 was 49.1; and overall for the season is 35.9.

Sorry, gang. I was getting my QBR stats from Pro Football Reference, but they are not the same as the ESPN QBRs. Watson is rated lower on ESPN.

My bad.

I don't really understand how Pro Football Reference can display a QBR stat other than ESPN's. It's a proprietary metric invented and published entirely by ESPN, the 'formula' and all. Even PFR displays their QBR number as an ESPN stat.

It's odd.

Could the Browns QB be suspended for his blatant facemask fouls, shoving official?

The NFL already ruled it “no harm no foul.” Goodell won’t dare discipline that sexual predator for obvious reasons. He wants no part of being called a racist by a certain group of “activists.” (That’s what happens every time they’re held accountable for their actions.) Dude has no back bone!

Kareem Hunt has been re-signed by the Browns. Another fine addition to the Brown's female assault stable. The same player who while with the Chiefs was captured on video pushing and kicking a woman and was suspended without pay for the first eight games of the regular season in 2019.

In their glossary, Pro Football Reference has it as the ESPN QBR.

Let's keep in mind that according to Stefanski and Watson, this season Watson will have a great deal of input into game plan and play calling. Watson has gotten what he wants.........control.........he will now be forced to take credit for not only his play but for the team's play...........excuses for failures will mostly fall on deaf ears.............except probably for Haslam and Mary Cabot.

Yes he did.

You just want this to go away and others want to remind everybody what a POS he is. Deal with it. Your hero is a pervert. This is like an unofficial child sex offenders list. Nothing wrong with this.

When have I touted my relationship with God? That's Dejaview that tried to besmirch my character using my belief in God. Are you trying to do the same thing because you dont like how posters are referring to your guy? This just in as long as Derrick's in the NFL this isn't going away. Particularly since the Texans will be picking based on how Derrick does this yr.
You got it backwards. I never used god to besmirch your character. I used your character to besmirch your god.
