If OB is onboard then go get him. If OB is happy with our QBs heading into next year, let them compete and evaluate another season before making another knee jerk reaction by spending a lot of draft resources. Doesn't matter who our QB is if we don't get some blue chip mistake free offensive lineman. We seem to have an offensive lineman miss a block or commit a penalty every play. I don't care about dominance from the line right now, just get a little consistency.
My fear is McNair decides to trade up and draft a QB that OB is not on board with to keep the fans happy. OB leaves, we get a lesser coach (because what coach would want to come to a dysfunctional QB merry go round similar to Cleveland), with no talent in the trenches and the team goes back to averaging 4 wins a season.
I have about the similar ability to project a college QBs success as anyone else, and that is very, very little. Having said that I would let it ride this year, maybe a middle/late round flyer if there is a guy OB wants. Go into next season with an open competition between Brock and Savage, if the play doesn't improve maybe look at Mason Rudolph in 2018.
