Fritz is going to have to do better with his recruiting than a crop of 3 or no star signees if he’s going to compete in the BIG 16.

This Cougars team has to do better in landing some of the local top talent. Their marketing obviously sucks b/c the City of Houston and UH campus are pretty awesome….with the Texans, Astros, Rockets, and music scene.

Nah, they can do exactly like SMU did. Hit the portal, pay the players and once you turn legit, then hit the high school circuit strong. They have the lowest football budget of every fbs school in America. Those kids don't really care about brick and mortar buildings. They want to play football and get paid. If SMU can rebuild that quick, U of H can also, but you have to win in Houston or people won't come.
