The Pac 12 won't count but yeah they could get a bye over a higher ranked team but both will probably be in the playoffs
 
Wow!!! BYU takes advantage of huge defensive holding call on 4th & 10 where BYU QB was sacked to march down and kick winning FG in final seconds. BYU was outplayed all game by 4-4 Utah but remain undefeated and inline for 1st round bye in CFP

Yes. I queried if anyone had heard what I was hearing and then edited when I found info on the subject. I was hoping others could add info if discovered. Removing starting QB of #3 team from draft would be significant news.
 
If Ewers decided to play another CFB season at UT….they’ll watch Manning hit the transfer portal.

For Sark, who’s he going to watch exit UT….Ewers or Manning?

Luck, 35, has accepted a newly created role at Stanford, which will place him above the entire program and is a distinct evolution from the traditional college general manager role. The hire could loom as a harbinger for structural changes in college football front offices across the sport.

Luck's role involves everything Stanford football touches, football-wise and business-wise. The football-specific duties will include managing the coaching staff, the player personnel staff, recruiting, roster management and the student-athlete experience.

Alabama A&M LB Burnett dies from head injury

Medrick Burnett Jr., 20, a linebacker for the Alabama A&M Bulldogs, has died following an in-game head injury he suffered in October.

Medrick Burnett Jr., 20, was playing his first season as a linebacker with Alabama A&M when he sustained the injury during the annual Magic City Classic against in-state rival Alabama State on Oct. 26, the Jefferson County coroner said in a statement Friday. The coroner listed his official time of death as Wednesday evening.
