College Football Random Thought of the Day

This has been the worst "Championship weekend" I've watched in a long long time. Flags and "preseason" mistakes galore.. I haven't watched much "good" football today.

Hopefully SMU can get a stop, but even they screwed the pooch in the first 5 min/quarter..

Regardless though, I think they earned a appearance by coming back and keeping it close.
 
These rankings are going to be very interesting tomorrow morning. How do you rank Texas, Ohio State, Notre Dame & Penn St? SMU vs. Alabama? Who gets the last bye between Clemson and Arizona State?

Alabama has to be out on that performance against OU alone.. I don't know why there's even a debate right now or why they even had a chance still going in.. It's on reputation/past accomplishments alone..

CBS post game.. They all agreed that SMU should be in and deserves to be in over Alabama, but then someone mentioned how the Big Ten has 4 teams in and they need 4 SEC teams in.. and talked about name recognition and entertainment value.. He even said "we all know how this works (hinting at financial profits), were going to wake up tomorrow and Alabama will be in on name recognition".

Sorry, but that's not a level playing field or even sports.. We all saw what gambling did to boxing.. hmm. They put Alabama in the playoffs over SMU, They are basically admitting to your face that they rig ****!

We all know this is rigged for the big programs... But this would be the most obnoxious slap in the face to date, IMO...
