Thank you!!!!!
I provided the source. Again the app doesn't have no link to attached dude.

Do what you thanked mussop for suggesting, Google up the article.

Well, I see there's another thread y'all have chosen to fvck up.

Great Job

Any news on Gaine?

Cry me a river. This should have been a one post exchange "post links to articles" "ok." But instead people choose to act like children, including you encouraging it and then whining.

The Texans could move up in the NFL draft next week.

But they could also move down.

According to General Manager Brian Gaine, it'll all be viewed on a "case-by-case" basis.

Houston's without a first and second round pick this year because of a pair of 2017 trades with the Cleveland Browns. The Texans first pick is in the third round, at 68th overall. Gaine, in his first draft as GM, explained why the Texans could move up in the draft.

"If we're honoring the draft board, and we see a player that potentially might be slipping down the draft board and we have the opportunity to go get him, and be aggressive, we'll measure that as well," Gaine said.

You're the issue here.

No clue in how to moderate or be civil for that matter.

Thx, lets move on, hopefully the children can keep this thread on track.

After reading this I kinda think the options for GAINE at 64 are TE/RB/OT. Luckily there will be good players available at those positions.

Well JB since you know how to Google, then freaking use it.

Moderator I've been on here for a minute. And I've posted without the link before and had no issues. So miss me with the bullcrap. But don't worry I won't post anything else on this site.

If you heard something on the radio or tv say it. If you read it, post a link. Not a big deal.

Not posting if you have nothing to do but b!tch is sometimes the best option.

Are you trying to get a medal for winning an argument, or do you just have no original thoughts about what Gaine should or shouldn't be doing?

Because if the latter is the case you should move on to another thread and let us discuss the topic of this thread.

Don't threaten to leave. Just go. Posters here won't notice anyway. That's not a slight. We're just all anonymous anyway.

I got a bazzilion alerts from the Brian Gaine thread and I wondered. "What the bejesus did Gaine do?" Then I opened the thread and realized it's TexansTalk predraft jitters.

Carry on.
Predraft jitters? More like girly cat fights! Some posters here could f.uck up a cup of coffee.

1st, I'm sincerely sorry I went fishing at Sam Rayburn all last week, accidentally dropping my iPhone in 25 feet water, therefore holding up the TT Mock Draft. To those effected waiting for me to post my picks for NE and MN, again, I'm sorry. Now after reading this thread, I'm not sorry for not being able to log in.

Rayburn can be fickle.

I have my new place there now. 40 foot 2010 Puma trailer, building a 12x28 deck next week. Nice Bass Cat boat, 2 old style Lowrance, Humminbirds, new Helix. I'd love to host a TT Draft Party out there in 2019. Zavalla, TX. My trailer can sleep 8, great pavilion just down the road. Places to stay all around there. Broaddus, TX just down the road from me is home to THE GREATEST Chicken Fried Steak. Better than T-Bone Toms.

I haven't seen Gaine do anything dramatically good or bad so far. As far as the draft picks go, they're 3rd rounders and below and I don't care what people think of them, they're a crap shoot even more than the 1st and 2nd rounds. So thus far, I don't have much to either complain about or be hopeful for as far as Gaine is concerned.

Which, if you think about it, is probably an improvement.

What was the offseason motto by the Texans PR department? "ALIGNMENT"....

Gaine provides that. For the first time since OB has been here we can see exactly why every player has been drafted and how they fit on this team.

Our mid round picks have sucked for a decade and a half. Not surprisingly this team has followed suit.

It does matter.

It's been going that was since the past two years. 2016 draft was all about getting faster on offense. 2017 was all about getting their franchise QB. Now were building depth in needed positions.

Because of the inability to evaluate QB's, I don't know that BOB was ever able to move in a defined direction to which align players to. Watson fixed that and Gaine is riding his coattails IMO.

I'd counter that they drafted Braxton Miller because of his speed but hoped they could create a weapon somehow (but didn't really know how to get there). Same with Tyler Ervin who compared favorably to Sproles coming out but just didn't make a dent in the rotation before getting injured last season.

2017 isn't necessarily a theme with 1 draft pick but i'll concede they knew what they wanted from the other guys Cunningham, Foreman, Davenport and Watkins.

That's how it works for every coach/gm until they find a franchise QB.

Every great offense on paper looks juvenile when guys like savage are in charge.

Put Ryan leaf in charge of bill Walsh's offense. Is it revolutionary?

Put it together and I will smoke up the place with some good ole Htown bbq.

I'm very satisfied with the picks. The TE could be "viewed" as a bit of a stretch but this will be better determined after camp kicks off. Let's see this class in camp before any real grades are handed out.

I'd still like to see the Texans sign LT, Bentley Spain- North Carolina. He's available as an UDFA. The guy entered this season on the early watch list for the Outland Trophy but a broken hand early had him miss a couple of games. The guy started for three seasons and was the Tar Heels starting LT for the last two. I would like to get him in here and stick him on the PS where he should have no problem being developed.

Let's keep in mind, when it's all said and done, we have always known that we will realistically need another Free Agency and Draft to be able to see and properly evaluate the whole picture.

Exactly. It's pretty clear him and OB have a plan in place for the types of players they want. Everyone they have acquired have met predetermined height/weight/length measurables. And the only two players that are undersized was due to their impressive speed/production in Mathieu/Coutee.

Next year when the team has a first/two second round picks and assuming lots of cap space still we will have a more clear picture to evaluate.

I agree fully. Now I expect to be called a troll, but what if we actually let next year's players play in an actual game (or 16) before we all start going all judgemental on the new GM!

Loan us that crystal ball you're using to project this year's crop.
I need next week's Lotto Texas winning numbers
:)

I was referring to this teams draft history not this crop. Are you arguing we have a good track record on mid round picks?

If you include Watson in this year it's not bad. I don't hate Akins. I hate him in the 3rd round.
