Badboy's college players to watch for future

Soon 2023 draft will be in rear view mirror and both college and NFL regular season will begin. Here are some guys and some info I will watch for Texans following draft or 2. Some will be ineligible for 2024 but i want to know if they are improving or not.

True sophomore with size and experience at both LG and RG. Projected to start for Alabama after solid Sugar Bowl.

More on these as season progresses.
Certainly some intriguing prospects there. How many of those QB's are likely to come out next year?

After watching this draft + NFL QB extensions, every eligible quarterback should come out no matter where projected. Get to that second contract.. get rich. NIL can be valid reason for some but doesn't have cachet of being NFL QB.

can you provide some info on that please?

He's transferring to his 3rd high school in 4 years. He missed nearly half the season after his last transfer due to transfer rules.

He was committed to Ohio State and then decommitted and now he's committed (for now) to Georgia.

Nobody will be shocked if he's in the portal soon.

I was aware of the info you posted but still do not understand why that makes you think he is a head case.

Maybe head case was the wrong term. Perhaps flakey is better. :)
I enjoy the discussion: isn't he just protecting his future by finding the best location for his future? It's still early but I've seen nothing about off field issues; arguing with coaches; ego etc .

Your thoughts?

I may be mistaken. I have nothing against the kid. I hope he has a happy and successful life, except when and if he's playing Ohio State. :)

The UH Cougars named Texas Tech QB transfer Donovan Smith QB1. I believe this guy is the biggest UH QB to ever go under center at 6'-5" and 241 lbs. Has a big arm and the capability to run. It would nice to see him have a solid first season as a starter....then get a second season out of him. His big game came against the 25th ranked Cougars team in 2022, which was Tech's first win against a ranked opponent since 1989.

Hopefully Ministry falls to our round one. Keon Coleman round two for now.
My focus for now: corner, WR, OG and Dline.
I was all in on Joe Alt but with extension of Tytus, I now hope Alt drives a need player down.

The former 5-star recruit had 35 catches as a freshman at LSU before spending two seasons at Georgia and then transferring to Nebraska in the offseason.
Gilbert was blessed with all pro talent and a 10 cent brain.

Name, Image and Likeness rules mean that if Caleb Williams chose to stay at USC for another year, he's still going to get paid.

And:

Some might want to add Tennessee QB, Joe Milton to the watch list.

Joe is 6-5 @ 240 lbs and has probably the strongest throwing arm in recent memory….a howitzer. It was said, he threw the ball 70 yards on one knee, and seems more than capable of launching it 100+ yards. Peyton Manning has been impressed with his arm.

He also runs with authority….and executes a mean back flip for a big man.

On field note, he’s 4-0 since taking over for Hooker last season.

He’ll blow some minds at the Combine.

I want to see how he matures and corrects his accuracy this season. I still think Hendon Hooker will develop into good NFL QB.

Here's his stats for the 4 starts he's had for Tennessee. 2022 was a win over Vandy and a Bowl win over Clemson. 2023 wins are over Virginia and Austin Peay. He's off to a nice start this season, and probably gets better as he gets more time with his receivers.

I want him to be over 70% accuracy and get that average per catch much higher as he had it last year.
