Houston Texans vs. Denver Broncos (Game Thread)

Taylor looked real bad tonight. 10 rushes for 19 yards or 1.9 per attempt. Take away a 10 yard run and he is at 9 rushes for 9 yards or 1 yard per attempt.

Walker looked better but he of course played against second string. I think he will be in the first half next week.

Here is a question, why does our running game look so bad?

Because of our run blocking. Ive never seen such a lack of holes

i realize that it's not a big deal to you guys/gals...but this is pretty cool for me.

this is the FIRST TEXANS GAME i've seen in 4 years!
lived in MT & MO for the past few yrs...so no fb for LYB.

glad to be with yall.

 Thanks to Steel Blue Texan posting the link to the stream, I'm able to watch the last part of the game.:smiliedance:

Slaton had some speed in the return. If he woulda gotten a little space away from that defender - may have been a little further down the field.

I'm not impressed with either Walker or Taylor this game. Slaton time!

Defensive holding call is positive, however.

I am curious to hear from those in the coming days who all but guaranteed Walker would not make the team. He is not a beast but he gets the job done.

Well, nothing particularly great from Slaton in that drive. Still looked marginally better than Walker, however. Taylor was baaaad tonight.

lol another missed tackle. Hackney turns a sack into a 30+ yard play

Terrible coverage by Barber

If It wasn't for all the penalities, we'd be getting killed

Actually I think it's pretty obvious by this time that the backs aren't the major problem (no matter who's back there). I know this is a knew system and all, but what the hell have they been doing during OTAs and in camp so far? I've never seen run blocking this bad. Nobody is getting off the ball........nobody is getting to the second level (and I'm talking about 1st, 2nd, and 3rd string).
