Texans 2008 NFL Draft

I like Mendenhall too, but the reason he is slipping in my mind is he has fumbleitis.

Now that we have an extra third maybe we can take a look at a Forte, or if by some chance Kevin Smith or Ray Rice slides, we go that way. There is a lot of backs that can be good RB's in the league, and with our needs a RB in the 1st is a luxury pick we can't afford.

Remember that if we had stayed and taken Mendenhall, it will have cost us that pick, a 3rd and a 6th. That price is too steep.

Good point. Tashard Choice or Cory Boyd would be good picks in the second day of the draft as well.

After a high just a few minutes ago with the Texans at 18, I have sunk to a new low as the players I would like see on the team go bye-bye.

Mendenhall's problem is the way he carries the ball. Very loose. That's easily coached, unless he is hard-headed which I don't think Mendenhall is.

We won'y get Mendenhall. The Seahawks will take him if he even drops to that #25 pick.

Panthers get Otah. Stewart and Otah; Panther running game is getting back on track.

What's scary is that Mendenhall will probably fall to the Cowboys. They can do alot with that choice.

I had heard it was McFadden that fumbled 20+ times over his collegeate career, not Mendenhall...??

Anyone think its Sam Baker at 26?

EDIT: Wow that was a suprise. I thought TB would definately go Jenkins at that spot. So...anyone think its Jenkins or Baker at 26?
