The Texans take Quinn and the Lions take another WR in the 1st? Yeah right!!! I thought this was supposed semi serious.

Why don't you just pick for everyone Kast?
 
Im not sure if ppl are PM'ing him the picks or if he is just deciding who goes where about every 20 mins....it says 12 hr time slot, so I hope that he isnt just picking who he wants to get the going because before the nite is over the first round is gonna be finished and it will be pretty lame if he selected most players....might as well just make a mock of his own
 
Wasn't anti-mock at all....I was just curious if ppl were sending the picks to you that fast or if you were just selecting who you thought should go where without giving the boardmembers time to decide or log in and see that they are up in the draft

I think you're a pretty savvy draft guy Kast, so why don't you just finish it off. Then begin a new one with a start time or something so everyones on the same page...
 
I dont mind the picks at all....I actually think the Lions WOULD consider CJ at #2....just like the Texans would possibly consider a DL in round 1 this year
 
I hate going for this guy this early, but Carolina's biggest needs are LB, S, and OT. Seeing as how Willis, Nelson, and Landry are gone, I say Carolina goes Paul Posluzny, LB, Penn St.
 
WR is a need for the Lions. A guy that played defense last year was their best reciever. You don't pass up a guy like CJ, who should go 1st.
 
I have to agree about the Lions pick. It doesn't matter how much they need a WR, if they pick another one in RD 1 the people in Detroit will run Millen and the whole coaching staff out of town.

He is not even on my 1st round list of players. He must be flying under the radar to reach like that. I would see the Texans taking a Lynch or a DB before they would ever consider another DL... But that is just me...

edit, I also wanted to add that Quinn is a horrible pick and way overrated. I would think IF the Texans are going to try and grab a QB, it would be 2nd round... I think Brohn will fall...

I'm sorry but, NO it's not!!! Especially not in the first round. They have Roy, & M.Williams, both first round picks. If they do this again they will be the most incompetent franchise in NFL history. Kitna is not the answer there , they either go QB or defense...
 
So anyone going to grill me over pasing on the offensive tackels and taking the CB with Clements on the block ?

What makes Mike Williams a good receiver? Is it because he was the 10th overall pick? Kitna isn't the problem, he passed for over 4,000 yards this year.

It's not about him being a good receiver or not. The Lions have used there first pick to select a WR too many times in recent history. They need gamebreakers at other positions. CJ is a great player...but there are others in the draft. I understand BPA but not when you used your first rounder on the same position as many times in recent history as the Lions have.

LOL Steel Blue. That's why I didn't squawk. He's posted that many, many times defending his guy. I happen to believe that a prospect at the start of day two would do more to fill holes than a better prospect with the first pick. That's a lot of money they're going to eat with DC. At least it wasn't Tatter Tot Smith. Coulda been worse.

He is a Jr who just announced this week. He plays better than Quentin Moses who some have rated in the top 10. When you think of all the good Georgia Dline playing in the NFL you have to give him a look.

If you read Kubiak's latest pressers, pressuring the QB is a highest priority.

i'll make a side bet with you ginn isn't a top-3 WR drafted.

this draft has the best collection of talent at WR i've ever seen.

DE is a much higher need for the fins.
