yup- that is an absolute lock pick.

(DET will not take a WR- they either take quinn or trade down to target smith and let whomever picks second pick johnson.)

I disagree Tampa can neither run or pass and Thomas an OT was clearly the best player on the board . Tampa also has two 2nd round picks ... you don't pass on a stud for need .

You pair Thomas with Davin Joseph and you have a start for a good young line .
 
Well after seeing some of the 1st round picks last year, we all know anything can happen, right?

But we have hit a snag here waiting...

i've been thinkin, maybe we shouldn't go beyond 1 round, the enthusiasm dies down, plus the general knowledge of players definitely narrows. we'll just start over and pick teams over. maybe next time we can just replace the first patriots pick with the seahawks so it's fair.
 
One suggestion I'd like to make - as it also applies to me - if you plan to be gone for an extended period (say longer than an hour) - does it make sense to send your pick (as well as a rationale and a couple of alternates) to kastofsna so he can make the pick for you?

Arizona picks Gaines Adams DE Clemson. With Thomas off the board and no other worthy O-linemen to take at 5, the Cards switch to the D hoping to improve an their anemiec pass rush.

Yeah, like this was a hard choice.
 
I agree,kasto should just make someone's pick if they are taking too long, since it's his thread.
 
I also suggest that next time, kastofsna should pick a specific time for the draft. you can sign up for a team but if you aren't online for the draft, you are toast
