And it's not like they need to be a top offense. If they get to a bottom-of-the-middle tier of offenses in the league, with a little luck, the sky is the limit with this team. Clearly, the offense isn't going to be as flashy as we would like it. I think a blueprint would be a BAL/NE/SF approach to football, being: don't turn the ball over, move the chains and rely on your defense to make plays and stops.
If you squint your eyes a little bit, you can see this as a possibility. You can also see the line being awful again, not being able to run the ball, and injuries kneecapping our offense in the second half of the season because...it seems to happen to this team often.
