2025 Free Agency-

****. Greenlaw to Denver. Too bad.
Honestly at that price not too upset.

We seem like we've got a bunch of #2 type LBs but not a true do it all #1.

To be blunt I think Greenlaw is just another #2. Maybe better than our other #2s but still a #2.

Not to mention with Demeco here I'd rather us draft LBs late and develop them, just like he did in San Fran.

Don't agree. They've been burned but it's when they're asking a safety to man cover a receiver. When you see that happen it's because they're relying on the d-line getting to the QB sooner.

Both Pitre and Murray are meh man cover players but are actually above average at it when considering safeties as a whole.

Good luck finding the safety who does that reliably because they're called the best corners in the league and don't play safety.
He's bad in coverage, always have been whether it's man or zone,Pitre too. Anytime a team needs a 3rd and 6, they find 0 or 5. Qbs have a qb rating of over 100 when they're the primary defender. I can't ever remember the Texans having lbs that could cover. Ryans couldn't, Cushing neither. It's been a constant that have held their defense back

BTW - What I posted about Green becoming an all-pro is just a funny thought! Good luck to Kenyon, but yet another lineman who seriously underperformed is gone. At best, he's a depth piece imho.

This is a GREAT trade. Could not love it more. Even if Green did make a major turnaround, which I find doubtful, it wasn't going to work here.

Turning a first-round bust into your running mate with Bullock is pure genius.

Nick is cooking fellas. And with no budget to go shopping in the gourmet section, he's still finding some filet mignon on sale. Get the hell out of the kitchen and let the man continue to cook!

A++++

Green brings $2.9 m to cap paying most of Gardner 3.7 m non GTD salary. 😄😁

In fairness...Laken was off my radar. I don't follow the Seahawks closely so I can't really add a lot here, but DJ says he had one of the higher pressure rates in the league, but is a durable guy. I'm fine with adding him into a mix and letting them compete. But he can't be the sole "answer" at LG. And I don't think that is the case. Might be a draft pick...or another vet, but there will be competition for all 5 spots imho.

Seahawks interior was horrible last year. Even worse than the Texans.
