Likely. How many are aware the Texans have minority owners? You never hear about them. (I'm pretty sure CnnnD knows).I think he was referring to Janice owning the team and not Cal/Hannah.

Alice, no more Mr. Nice GuyI have no idea of the validity of the above article, but the optics are certainly entertaining.![]()
It's Janice that goes to the owner meetings
I found two sources that said she represented the Texans at NFL functions including owners meetings, but both sources could be coming from something McClain wrote back in 2019According to the Houston Texans themselves, Cal attends meetings, as well. I have found pictures of him at NFL owners meetings. I have not seen one of Janice attending, but she might be shy about pictures.
"McNair regularly attends NFL meetings as part of team management, chairs the NFL Audit Committee and serves on the NFL Investment Committee."

What a mess. If what LZ says about Easterby and BOB setting Gaine up so they could get him fired. That is so wrong on so many levels. To destroy a man's reputation in their power grab to control the franchise. That is some Littlefinger type stuff here. Here's the interview from today:
Oh they deleted it.page doesn't exist
I liked Brian Gaine, all the accusations were strange at the time. Bill brought him in and then stuck a knife in his back as soon as he leaned over to sign his contract.
What did it say?Oh they deleted it.
This is the Texans that Cal McNair has made. O’Brien and Easterby hated Gaine. That is why they fired him the day after Easterby returned from Boston after spending an evening talking to Nick Caserio about becoming the Texans next GM.What a mess. It was saying Lovie Smith was the reason why Jack the Ripper was fired. Cooks was complaining about the way Lovie was working them and reported it to Jack. Lovie went to the McNair’s saying, he’s back at it again and I want him out of here. What did it say?![]()
We knew Cooks was a little biatch from his tantrum after Easterby was fired. What we didn't know was he was like this all along. Can't wait to see Cooks kicked out of here.Cooks was complaining about the way Lovie was working them and reported it to Jack.
Yeah we don't need a diva cancer like that in the locker room.We knew Cooks was a little biatch from his tantrum after Easterby was fired. What we didn't know was he was like this all along. Can't wait to see Cooks kicked out of here.

His attitude and locker room lawyering might be one of the reasons he's been traded so many times. We knew Cooks was a little biatch from his tantrum after Easterby was fired. What we didn't know was he was like this all along. Can't wait to see Cooks kicked out of here.

He's in the media.. so if it's not true, business as usual. The media doesn't care about truth or not..If it’s not true, what does it say about LZ?

If Jack isn't the chaplain, we know he's angling for the job.Not sure if he is the chaplain or not
Look, I don't pay a lot of attention to stuff like this. But you can't help seeing theNot that I would want those two anywhere near my quarterback, but Stroud is the epitome of the Easterby/Cooks mantra of Faith, Family, Football.
Nick was ready to bail on Belichick at that point. And $36 million guaranteed was nice.We can be thankful that Easterby was able to get Caserio to come to Kirby.

Man, don't even joke around with that. The Astros have enough problems.I am concerned that Jack easterby has found his way into the Astros Clubhouse. He might be in camouflage but I see some crazy things going on.
Because phook Easterby! That’s why!Why are we bringing this topic back to life. Lol
Indeed, so let this thread slither away to where it belongs.Because phook Easterby! That’s why!![]()
Quoted for truthPeople may not want to admit it but Easterby telling Caserio “You can’t believe the **** I am getting away with. You got to come here. Name your price and it’s yours. It is that easy” was one of the best things to happen to this franchise.
The failures of OB, Watson, and Easterby, all directly led to the Caserio, Demeco, and Stroud dream team.
Nick was ready to bail on Belichick at that point. And $36 million guaranteed was nice.
I actually like this thread.

I heard a brief mention on the radio about Bagwell. What's going on with him?I fully believe that Jack Easterby has possessed the soul of Jeff Bagwell.

Hopefully for the Rangers. Stay the hell away from the Astros, Baggy!I heard he thinks he can be a baseball GM.

I don't think those other two are actually as "devout" as they like to act like they are. There's some that tend to talk about how devout they are rather than actually be that and I think Easterby and Cooks fall into that bracket.Funny to think how choices and actions have consequences. I can't help but think how much Easterby and Cooks would have loved Stroud's faith. Not that I would want those two anywhere near my quarterback, but Stroud is the epitome of the Easterby/Cooks mantra of Faith, Family, Football.
p.s. good riddance.
I think you are right, but I also think that folks that fall into that category flock to people like Stroud because it makes them appear to be more righteous and it builds on the persona that they are trying to show the world.I don't think those other two are actually as "devout" as they like to act like they are.
