Texans random thought of the day

Did a little research and the Texans honored Bum and the Luv Ya Blue boys on 12/9/2007 before the Tampa Bay game. Here's an article from the Texans website.

But the Texans also honored Bum on 10/14/2012 at a Sunday night game vs the Packers. Here is a photo from that game.

Not sure when this photo with Earl was taken at Reliant/NRG

Here's another with President George HW Bush at another game:

Here's Bum with Dante, Wade, and Bob McNair:

Clearly, Bum spent a lot of time at Reliant/NRG. He never went to Nashville. And never wore Titans gear, that's for damn sure.

You can't "franchise" individuals. Tennesser doesn't have rights to Bum and Earl, but the Texans can not put Bum and Earl into their Ring of Honor as the Titans did with White Shoes.

We do have a injury thread. The one Doc made a many moons ago.

I'm assuming he means a thread dedicated to the discussion of injuries, like the similar thread for discussion of player transactions..

What PIN?

And I'm assuming he means to be able to pin the thread to the top of the subforum..

And if someone wants to create an injury discussion thread I'd be happy to do the pinning..

What PIN?
Perhaps it's different on different platforms. On my Android there are 6 threads with a push pin on the right side screen edge. I believe this indicate the thread is locked in position. For example, the Texans Player Transaction Discussion Thread is locked in position directly below the Texans Player Transaction Thread.

If you make a thread, a mod has to pin it, which Mollywhopper said he would do

This is the Texans Random Thought of the Day Thread Doc.
My apologies to all..............I just mistakenly thought some posts were posted in the Injury Thread........I was unknowingly reading it in this thread.

Do we need a separate injury discussion thread? I notice the Injury Thread has 4k replies. Should we just continue posting injury discussion here, as we have been doing since CloakNNNdagger created the thread? Since one hasn't already been created in the past, I suppose the status quo is acceptable.

You're the latest (not the only) one to say one was needed. Many discuss injuries in the injury thread which is wrong and injury discussions placed here get lost.

Bro your asking the wrong person. I couldn't care less to have a separate discussion thread as much as if the peeps here wanted one. It's nowhere I'd ever be anywho. That's why I said if whomever wants to create one just I'll gladly sticky it and we can see how it goes.

Ultimately it's up to the community.

OK, CnnnD beat me to it this morning. Could you please pin it beneath the Injury Thread. Thanks for your help in finally getting this accomplished.

Watching a replay of the Steelers and Titans, Pittsburg's RB steps out of bounds at the 1 yd line and clearly shown on the replay, the ball is stretched out and is at the 1 ft line. The refs sets the ball at the 1 yd line.

Was this correct? I thought progress was marked by the ball.

Didn't matter, the Steelers still scored. But it could have affected the game.

I made the same comment in the Week 9 thread in the NFL section

They got screwed on that play. Even my old lady said “they messed that up, he was way closer!”

According to the ESPN Box score on yesterdays Texans/Bucs game Will Anderson got a sack ?
I recall him getting one but was thinking we got a defensive penalty on the play which would mean a redo on the down
and therefor would have purged his sack from the stats.
If legit it would have been his second sack.
