Direct TV was much more user friendly.Steel,
Was wondering what your issue is with it on YouTube TV?.
This is my first year springing for Sunday ticket so I have nothing to compare it to.
Seems fine to me. My brother in law in Buffalo can watch his stupid Eagles at the same time I watch the Texans without issue, which I think is pretty cool.
I’m a culturally Deaf person. I hate it because they have fewer stuff that is closed captioned since they moved over there from Directv. I need the closed captioning or I can’t watch. It sucks.
I don’t have any issues with it as well. My coworker is a Saints fans, so we would have either teams game on the TV and the other game on my iPad.Steel,

Closed captioning is very important to me even though I don't have hearing issues. There are so many side conversations that normally I don't get because I'm focused on the main characters. Close captioning helps me with that. I have it on my TV constantly.I’m a culturally Deaf person. One historical lesson I've learned from the Texans is when I expect them to win there's gonna be problems. And I expect them to win.
So there's gonna be problems.![]()
^^^ This. All of this.
You have precisely summed up my feelings.
I wish more people left it on 24/7. It benefits -everybody-. Especially kids learning how to read.Closed captioning is very important to me even though I don't have hearing issues. This is why IMO this is a must win game. Not for the sake of the season... but winning the games they should win would go a long way in convincing me and Im sure others, the change is real rather than a shine that is soon to tarnish. One historical lesson I've learned from the Texans is when I expect them to win there's gonna be problems. Which site do you go to? I remember Buffstreams and Sportsurge, I think that is two of them. They shut down the Reddit threads that had good quality streams a couple of years ago.I'll have to stick with my free streaming![]()
I use sportsurge and usually streameast for football, though I will checkout Volokit2 and Dofu to see how they are working. I have a fast internet and don't usually have problems. I haven't had to use it much this yearWhich site do you go to? I remember Buffstreams and Sportsurge, I think that is two of them. Most streams are usually a pain, because I have to restart the stream ever so often, can't really pause it either, and the resolution is not great. But that looks like what I will have to do this Sunday.
This is my first year with sunday ticket so I dont know how it was with DirectTv but I'm not sure how it can get anymore user friendly than it is. You click a channel and the game plays. Press the down button and it gives you a multiview optionDirect TV was much more user friendly.

Throughout the years, dialogues can be difficult to listen to, especially in movies.I wish more people left it on 24/7. It benefits -everybody-. Especially kids learning how to read.
My becoming hard-of-hearing also didn't help.
Now, I've always have to have CC on.
Yeah. Understood and respected. That’s likely because you’re not accustomed to it 24/7 just as much as I am unaccustomed to sound. I can’t watch football with my hearing aids on. I found myself focusing on hearing how a “pow” sounds instead of actually watching it. Funny how that works, eh? I guess you could think as if It becomes “background essential” to your viewing pleasure. Kind of like how you have the sound on. It doesn’t distract you from watching it… yet it would be very difficult for you to watch football without the sound. The captioning is my sound. The text is in the background of my eyes. Trust me… I’m watching football.I'll use it if there are sound issues with what I'm watching, ie the background music/noise is tuned too loud to hear the dialogue, or if it's a chore of an accent to follow closely. But otherwise I can't have it on because it distracts too much for me from what's physically going on on screen. I get caught up just staring at the bottom of the screen and reading along to the point of not actually watching what's unfolding above it - the acting, scenery, etc. Hell, at that point I'd rather just see if there's a book version.
One thing I noticed during COVID is I had a hard time understanding some people. I never realized how much I depended on reading peoples lips when talking until everybody was wearing a mask.My becoming hard-of-hearing also didn't help.

Thank you for sharing. I didn’t realize that hearing people struggled with the masks too. COVID is and continues to be devastating for me and my community. Those masks. However, KLS still regularly faces discrimination as a deaf-owned and operated business.
Recently, the company was awarded some work by a major industry player. While performing the work, a store manager became upset when the crew asked him to either remove his mask, so the crew could read his lips, or to write down what he was saying.
“He got very agitated that we could not understand him and kept yelling at us,” Keathley said. “I kept telling him we are deaf and that we can’t tell what he’s saying, but he became so agitated by this that I could do nothing but walk away and continue to finish our work.”
Although the team finished the job and the customer was happy with the results, Keathley was shocked by their lack of understanding when it comes to communicating with deaf people. “What if another customer refuses to proactively communicate with me or my team?” he said. Although his company appreciated the work, it put Keathley in a difficult situation. “We cannot allow them to hold our disability against us as a condition of employment, so we chose to let them go as a customer.”

Yes, it was terrible as MWS said. Especially when you had to visit a medical professional and neither party could understand the other.Thank you for sharing. We encountered this issue at the chemical plant/refinery I manage as well. It’s really loud when out in the process units so the guys sounded muffled when talking over their radios. Bad enough to the point that there were a couple of minor chemical spills due to communication issues. It was one thing after another. We had been riding a six year injury/incident free record before this whole COVID fiasco.Thank you for sharing. I didn’t realize that hearing people struggled with the masks too. There's no difference, other than bad weather won't kill your satellite signal with YouTube. I know that was about me and that is fine but based on the upsets we have seen so far this season I know there is a real chance we will overlook the Panthers and lose the game. Call it whatever you want. I just hope our focus is on playing our best possible game and we are prepared to play a highly motivated Panthers team!Trap game!
My guess is the Panthers will follow the Atlanta and NO game plan on Defense. CJ struggled some with those looks. A very healthy run game would be one counterpoint. The Panthers haven’t shown a good run defense…so there is some hope on that front. I also want to see more Boone and Singletary and less DP.
And With the bye week Bobby and crew came up with a handful of ways to beat that defense through the air as well…I hope!
I am mildly confident but it also wouldn’t shock me if the Texans lay an egg. I have TTSD. That’s Texans traumatic stress disorder. I have seen too much. The struggle is real.
This is a must win game because winning it means there will be more must win games in the future. And must win games are so much more fun that who cares games. This is why IMO this is a must win game. No, it's been a running joke since...the last trap game. All games should be considered trap games from here on.I know that was about me and that is fine but based on the upsets we have seen so far this season I know there is a real chance we will overlook the Panthers and lose the game.
Both the Saints and the Falcons are top ten in points allowed. My guess is the Panthers will follow the Atlanta and NO game plan on Defense. CJ struggled some with those looks. There were games in which the Panthers fell behind big and/or early; their opponents were content to run the ball down their throat.Texans offense 12th in passing yards, 28th in rushing yards, 22nd in total TDs.
Panthers offense 26th in passing yards, 25th in rushing yards, 21st in total TDs.
Texans defense 16th in passing yards, 10th in rushing yards
Panthers defense 4th in passing yards, 25th in rushing yards
And both teams are coming off a bye week.

I'm going to expect Bryce Young to play as well as Desmond Ridder, if not better. I'm sure he (BY) will have a career day.My guess is the Panthers will follow the Atlanta and NO game plan on Defense.

There's no difference, other than bad weather won't kill your satellite signal with YouTube. I had DirecTv For 15 years with Sunday Ticket.
Agree. However, I reckon the pressure to win this game coming down from their FO is real.Young will be trying as hard as possible to make this untrue. I think he'll take it as a personal challenge and we'll get his best game so far this year.
You can purchase the NFL Ticket on YouTube TV now. That’s what I paid for.I only pay for Sunday Ticket, not YouTube TV and it is my understanding you have to have YouTube TV to record the games. With DirecTV I could record them and watch later if I was travelling.
If there is a way to record w/o paying for YouTube TV I would appreciate the info!

So Cj & crew better figure how to score some points.

Yes… there is. For example…. Cheaper to just pay for NFL+. It’s like $15 a month. You get the all-22 included as well as reruns of all games. Condensed too!I only pay for Sunday Ticket, not YouTube TV and it is my understanding you have to have YouTube TV to record the games. I thought with Sunday ticket you could watch any game any time, even older games from this season.I have NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube but I don't pay the extra monthly cost for YouTube TV and was told you have to have the latter to record the games to the cloud.
If the Texans can get the running game going; look out.The biggest change I hope to see out of the ball on both sides:
Offense - Get the running game going. Having the bye week to get healthy will help. Having the same starting five for the third game in a row will help as well.
Defense - Finish plays. Whether that’s turning pressure into sacks or finishing tackles when they swarm to the ball. Just finish it. Bend but don’t break seems to be the recipe for this defense, but more finishing of plays will put some bite in this defense.
