Texans random thought of the day

Doubt this, Nobody other than Fant has played LT in the NFL that can play on Sunday is currently on the roster.
Texans have signed Geron Christian to the PS. He previously played for the Texans in 2021, playing in 14 games and starting 8 at LT. He had an outstanding pass blocking grade of 78.8. Run blocking not so good 39.6.

Deculus is also on the PS. One of these two will likely be brought up.

Christian isn't good, but hopefully he has a good game. Last yr he had a couple of good games, so maybe they will get lucky.

1018? Nah, that's over 700 years too late for Lions vs. Christians. 1018 is Vikings vs. Christians.

Locker & Meltzer? could be slickT & that other guy he mentioned for all I care. They're discussing their opinion on what happened/didn't happen... still, it's just their opinion.

& I don't believe the Hannah/fangroup crap. Just saying, Locker & Meltser's opion don't mean much to me.

They're also talking out of their arses most of the time.

There was a play that Steven Nelson made in the Jags game. He ran stride for stride with Calvin Ridley down the sideline and broke up the pass. Just perfect all the way around. I really like Nelson as a player. Does not get the accolades of others but he’s just a rock solid player that has been starting for playoff teams his entire career.

Great play but he's allowing 70 % completion. 31 in January and 60-40 he's extended probably as he's only vet that can stay on field. Man we need to draft corners!

They should be members of the message board. Fit right on in.
I didn't realize how many ventriloquists we had on the board. Perhaps we can do a poll:

How did you decide to become a 🫏 ventriloquist?

A) As a young child my dad wasn't home much to play catch so I focused on things to do by myself.

B) Everyone should be good at something and damn, I am good at this!

C) My gym coach told me I could get a certificate and have something to fall back on.

D) My S2 eliminated NFL QB so...

What does this even mean?

I mean, he has been targeted 10 times in three games. That is like 11% of the opposing QB attempts. Trevor Lawrence threw his way three times last Sunday. Both passes he gave up were on a 4th quarter drive when the Texans were up 17 and Jax was throwing on 75% of their plays.

Oh cool.. so he doesn't have to try if Texans are ahead in 4th quarter 🤔. For some reason I was thinking those also counted. My bad.

Edit for those who missed it...
SARCASTIC post.

Glowing praise for the Texans rookie class:

“Last season, we watched the Seattle Seahawks sneak into the playoffs with a rookie class sparking a resurgence that surprised the football world. It is too soon to proclaim the Texans as playoff contenders, but their rookies have set the foundation for a significant bounce-back in Houston.”
Wow, pretty refreshing. He did say that CJ implored the Texans to draft Dell but as I remember it from draft day NC asked CJ to contact Tank to find out what other teams may have told him. Perhaps that combination landed Dell. Smooth move.

Interesting as in I will be sitting in a living room with a plate of pork chops rice and gravy and deculus and CJ will be on the playing field. If I feel like I need to poop, it is only a few steps to the bathroom.

DeMeco seems to think outside the box. Does anyone possibly see him in TC next year giving To‘o To’o reps at safety? He seems to be a tweener to me and I know DR loves his safeties. I have visions of a Troy Polamalu type. Real train wrecker with his football knowledge. I think he could lose a little weight easier than trying to bulk up a little. Just a random thought.
