In Nick's presser, he explored during the day, but only worked the deal with AZ while AZ was on the clock. So they seemed to think get the QB to maybe lessen the competition for 3, then worked a deal

It may have been a little on the costly side, but it wasn't egregious. You added arguably one of the highest rated players in the draft for a 2024 1st and a 2023 2nd.

Then you swapped #12 for #3 this year and a 3rd next year for a 4th this year. That ain't that bad.

I am.usually way off in my assessments on draft picks and I doubt now is any different but with these two picks I don't go on knowledge. None the less with both CJ Stroud and Will Anderson Jr I have a gut feeling they'll be really good for us! I hope I am right!

I feel pretty optimistic about last night. That move shows me the FO is going to try to do whatever they can to set up Ryans and his staff for success. Stroud becomes the engine for the new offense; Anderson becomes the engine for the new defense.
