Just based on the type of QB's the Colts have had in the past, I'd think the QB they'd target would be Stroud.

IMO, if the Bears end up with #1 or #2, QB needy teams could be more inclined to deal with them with the thought that the Bears are not interested in a QB.
The Texans, on the other hand, may be looked at as needing a QB thus making other QB needy teams apprehensive about approaching them for #1 or #2.

There will be teams that love Young. Those teams that are desperate for a QB will move Heaven and Earth to trade up for the #1 pick. Regardless of who has the #1 or #2 pick.

Only way a team gives up all that draft capital & trades up into any 1 of the top 2 slots for a qb is if they feel they’re a qb away from making some serious noise or if there is a ridiculous prospect at the top…which is not the case. Those 2 variables drastically cuts the number of teams right there.

So imo it doesn’t matter whether we end up 1 or 2…we will be taking a qb if Stroud winds up declaring.

Stroud might be waiting to see who has the #1 pick before declaring. 2023 he's #2 QB. In 2024 he's #3 QB at best.
