Week 13: The Brown stains smear the Texans

Keep it Movin!
Mahomes and Allen don’t run out of the pocket in practice (with no pressure) because they get too antsy. He no longer has O’Brien to try and keep him in the pocket. And before you say O’Brien had nothing to do with that, go back and rewatch how many times Watson was getting hit for not sliding or not throwing the ball away while running. Sounds good?
I guess Burrough was running around when he got sacked 70 times last season huh? How about having Julian Davenport as your starting left tackle

How do you know what Allen and Mahomes do at practice?

We can still win one game, one game only...lose the rest and have the #1 pick in the 2023 Draft..
The Bears and Broncos have things in place to suggest winning one or two games is not out of the question.

Anyway, the next two games are against the Cowboys and chiefs. How close to zero percent chance of winning can we get for either of those games?

I can't stop laughing!
Davis Mills looks like Joe Montana compared to this guy. I'm glad we got to see how shitty a regular backup looks in lieu of the crappy OL and overall talent. Not to say Mills is the answer or that we shouldn't draft a QB. 100% we should. But we went from being competitive in games to being a complete shitshow. Allen has zero arm talent. LOL to those that thought Allen would be an upgrade.

Silver Lining as we know that Allen is not our backup of the future and we also know that Mills is not our starter for the future! Knowledge is valuable even more valuable is what we do with that knowledge.

What the Texans should do is draft a QB and assume Mills is the backup. Create a competition in the offseason between incumbent and shiny new toy. 1000000% fire Hamilton and Lovie Smith and bring in modern NFL coaches... Tons of candidates to interview from Ben Johnson, Ken Dorsey etc. Trade down from #1 overall and fix the gaping holes all over the team with cornerstone talent. Pick QB with developmental talent but not #1 overall. Let someone else set back their organization 3-4 years by taking Young/Stroud.

No disrespect. But how the heck is watching Mills at QB and having -5 yards passing or 30 yards of offense at half time being competitive or any different from what we are seeing from Allen?

Pretty simple: 5 passing yards wasn't the norm. 80 passer rating with this squad, in retrospect, is pretty respectable. Again, like I've always been saying and which is incredibly obvious after these last 2 games, the team's offensive problems are a collective effort, not just on Mills. Now that we've seen the deteriotation 1st hand with Allen - an experienced NFL QB with starting experience - it's even more obvious.

And yet again, this is not an exoneration of Mills. He has his issues. But at least he has arm talent. Allen is just hot garbage.

The same people who thought Allen would be an improvement are the same people who think Minshew will be an improvement. Lol. I guess you're one of them 🤣
No I wasn't.
You didn't read one my post above.

Post no. 638 to be exact.

You have Nick Caserio to thank for having 3 back up QBs.

No wonder it's the worse team in Texans history.

Dumb moves by the GM is one of the major problems.

It’s no different than you banging the drum on Mills. Garbage is garbage and the Texans could open their own waste management company with the garbage they have. But that would probably be garbage too.

Not banging the drum on Mills. I've clearly said that I didn't know if he was the guy and that we should draft another QB. Clearly and multiple times. Just said that Mills has arm talent, and he does.. Whether everything would come together was my biggest question, and it hasn't.

And judging by the massive drop off in performance with Allen in there, I'd say if Mills is chicken poop Kyle Allen is Rhino dung. Until we have an upgrade, Kyle Allen doesn't deserve to be on an NFL field, although he too is hamstrug by the same lack of talent and shitty line play that has befell Mills. A collective issue, no matter who is in there. Same with the midget next year if we draft him. Shitshow will continue.

That damn Watson disappointed you again. All week you've been posting about Watson leaving the stadium on a stretcher and Jimmy G is the QB who ends up out for the season. Go figure.
The season isn't over and if I was the HC, he wouldn't have walked out of NRG.

Keep it Movin!
He was throwing the ball in the ground two yards from receiver all game... other than the strike he threw to Pitre
I will watch the good games 1st on condensed version and then watch that game. The hardest thing to do is understand the speed. He hasn't seen game speed since really the last game he played. I expected him to play bad. He will get timing in a couple of games. Did we see him throwing dirt balls when he was playing here? Without watching, he was probably trying to guide the ball vs throwing the football.

The horrible Abominable Watson week is now officially over, but we'll still keep talking about the mother ****** for the next fifteen billion years.

I hereby request that the board administrators add "Watson" to the filter list of naughty words that get automatically edited out.

LOL, you need to point the finger at the right guy.
Your guy, Nick Caserio.

Some of us had said during the off-season that by bringing in Allen and Driskell, Caserio was making sure that there's as little competition for Mills as possible.

What a joke; a team with 3 back-up QBs.
:brando: :brando: :hankpalm:
Lol, you throw so much bunk around here you cant even keep track of it…thats been proven….

So Nah bro this is all you & Texansballer. Double down on your Kyle Allen love…tell me more about how much better the offense would look with him at qb instead of Mills.

Tell me more about how Allen was balling before his ankle injury & how he was gonna allow for Pep to open the playbook more b/c they didn’t trust to do it with Mills.

in these 2 games he’s been starting, the offense somehow looks worse if you can believe it. Reminds me of my favorite line from the movie the big short…

”so mortgage bonds are dog **** and CDO’s are dog **** wrapped in cat ****”….in this case sub out “mortgage bonds” for Mills and “CDO’s” Allen.

BS.

Kyle Allen got benched 4 games in for Kyle Postma, a no-name QB at UH.

You like to associate people with some failure to sweep away the stench your guy Mills has been leaving all over the place.

Give it up.
