Week 13: The Brown stains smear the Texans

At least we didn’t let Watson beat us.

Texans should have won this game.

Team is seriously lacking in coaching. No discipline. No common sense play calling. This isn’t even a call to get creative. Do the basic common sense stuff. They aren’t even doing that.

I'm being honest here... really

If I'm Lovie I'm telling the reporters, "You saw what I saw, this isn't about football, this is not about Xes & Os... we're fighting principalities, dominions, & powers from the foundation of the world. We're in serious trouble here. All of us, you included"

So Lovie starts ranting about the World Economic Forum? I'm down.

Nope bring in a guy like Jimmy G or Minshew on a 3 yr deal and draft a QB in 2024. Unless your ok with Flutie as your long term QB. We've already seen this act. Load up the team with picks and move on.
I'd be happy to roll with minshew for a season or two

The team really doesn't need another year of shitty veteran QBs. Might as well throw Mayfield or Zach Wilson in there. The only good QB in Texans history is one they drafted high. Unless you think you are going to be so bad that you get the No.1 overall in 2024, you take the QB.

Funny how 2023 was considered the best QB class ever on this board last year, now it is meh, with 2024 now being great.

For sure since the Lions didn't have a win, but they did have a HOF player on that team. So I'm putting them ahead of these Texans in spite of the win differential.
If the Texans lose out, they will tie that Lions team in non-wins

I disagree with your choice of bridge QB's but yeah

The team sure did look better with Caserio on the headset.

Just saying.

I was thinking that as well. I was at work during the game and every time I saw a few plays I thought..."Didn't we play better with Nick Caserio on a headset?"

Here is what I don't get. Some teams run the same plays every game. And the D knows that. They challenge you to stop them. This team is kinda doing that, but in this case Ds ARE stopping them. Which should tell a HC to change it up. So far, no luck. I wonder how much input Caserio had in the Lovie hire. Seems more to me that McNair knew he couldn't use Culley another year. Looked at what he was able to get and snagged Lovie cheap off the staff. I think Caserio was the one looking at guys like Frazier. Just my .02

I wonder how much of Lovie not wanting Caserio on the headset is more about pride.

If you say so future boy. Jimmy G ain’t coming to this **** show. I think Kyle re-signs him myself.

Given Watsons "love and respect" nonsense with the Texans its no surprise that Cal and everyone else had a love fest.

I would expect no less from the PR nightmare both DW,Browns and Texans went through.

Hug it out make nice for the cameras and move on with life with the public perception being all parties are happy and friendly.

The good news is... its over.

Watson leading the offense only produced 3 points. The Browns produced 3 non offensive TDs in the game. It will be interesting to keep hearing about Watson's "rust." The "rust" card can only carry you so far.

The poor precedent was set with Cal hugging Watson.
Well to be fair to deshaun, it’s been more than a year a half since he last played a down

Dont know now that he's broken his foot.

I'm thinking about bringing Andy Dalton home.
What about AJ McCarron? You liked him after he led the offense to an opening drive TD in a week 17 game. BTW. Any idea why Caserio didn't re-sign McCarron?
