Why not be honest with your question?
How many players died from 1960-80's football prematurely and suffered serious brain injuries later in their lives?
Look, we get it, you don't care about the players after the NFL has used them up. Your perspective has been very clear in that regard.
tbh, I'm still not sure why you even bother watching such a sissy sport as the modern NFL.

Yep but at least it doesn't appear to be rigged and the SJW haven't taken over yet.College football is even more pansified than the nfl

Right, the same college football that has players kicked out one after the other after the other and so on for targeting..
I'm assuming that JB is using the same sarcasm that I've been using. But I'm assuming. . .
I think the main question is about someone that appears to hate the form of entertainment that they choose to watch. There's a disconnect that some of us do not understand.
I'm not a fan of soccer. So I don't watch it and I don't talk about it. Seems like a simple concept.
How can you claim college football is not rigged when it is run by one of the most corrupt sports organizations in the world?
There's no evidence of the NCAA rigged games. The NCAA has been a toothless lion for a decade or more. Unlike the NFL, Saints vs Rams NFCCG.
The Broncos are going to regret that deal at some point.
sooner rather than later unless they have painless outs written inThe Broncos are going to regret that deal at some point.
Speaking of point spreads….Ohio State is a 17.5 point FAVORITE over Notre Dame this coming weekend. If there are point spreads and gambling offered on college games.....you can never be sure.
I'm listening. Please tell me. Unless a severe injury happens, he's playing until he's at least 40. The cap is going up again also. The Broncos are going to regret that deal at some point.
Dolphins senior vice president of communications and community affairs Jason Jenkins died of a blood clot at age 47, according to the Miami-Dade medical examiner department. A team spokesperson also confirmed the cause of death.
Jenkins’ death was determined to be of natural causes, according to the medical examiner, a bilateral pulmonary thromboemboli due to phlebothrombosis, otherwise known as the formation of a blood clot. Jenkins had a history of thrombosis.
A young age to have a history of blood clots. RIP

I saw that when it first happened, but thought it would mess up my numbers if I posted it.
.........as well as the COVID vaccines. I was not going to bring these things up in this thread because of the divided strong feelings regarding these subjects.Blood clots are a complication of long COVID as well, as I understand. Sucks to die so young.
How are NCAA championships corrupt? Be specific.Do you honestly believe that NCAA national championships are free from all scandal and corruption?
Signs of a bad GM.
Name the QB who has the most sacks in any 10 year period? Bingo, Russell Wilson. The same QB that also averages 85 rushes a game. And then there are the QB hits that don't result in sacks. The hits that take place on plays that are called back for penalties. A lot of hits.I'm listening. Please tell me. Unless a severe injury happens, he's playing until he's at least 40. Not only that, but a team had never won the SB in the salary cap era paying their QB 13% or more of that cap.Name the QB who has the most sacks in any 10 year period? Bingo, Russell Wilson. There has been some recent QB outliers that played longer than normally. But they haven't been hit at the rate Wilson has. Not even close. Wilson's career will end more like Big Ben's and the majority of QBs in their late 30's. Struggling to stay on the field and a shadow of their former selves.

This is when post hoc theorems went down in flames.I cannot recall clearly -
Is this when Brady won his latest Super Bowl?
And is this where people were arguing salary vs bonus money?
Thanks.

Rodgers has been sacked alot too. He had a couple of injury years, but he's been healthy enough to win the last 2 mvps also. With him going to a west coast offensive minded coach, I don't think he's going to get hit nearly as much as he used to plus he takes really good care of himself. I think Russ is going to outplay that contract.Name the QB who has the most sacks in any 10 year period? Bingo, Russell Wilson. The same QB that also averages 85 rushes a game. except when Brady just recently won it. Not only that, Matt Ryan and Peyton were in the superbowl past that %. That number doesn't matter, you team does. Not only that, but a team had never won the SB in the salary cap era paying their QB 13% or more of that cap.
No one cares. It was made up from past stats and contracts to make up an hypotheses. It got more attention than it deserved.Who was the QB and was it salary or salary and bonus?

The revenue sports pay for all the other programs and the players aren't rewarded. Their not signing for 7b to watch womens volleyball of golf. That in itself is corruption. On another note, Georgia should've played Bama in the 1st rd, but the committee wanted a rematch vs Michigan or Cincy in the championship game. How are NCAA championships corrupt? Be specific.

Texas has always had a plethora of riches at their disposal. The problem with Texas is that they don't have any grit to them. Its more like a country club. Like I told you my son is a top 2024 recruit. When we went to Texas, it felt like a bunch of fluff, my son even said so. OU felt more like just football. The NIL isn't going to make a school any better than others because all of them have boosters and alumni who wants the school to win. These kids are different. My son was really digging OU and was kinda bummed out when the oc resigned. They're still in his top 3 because Vernables is about ball, that's it.They do now with the NIL. All they really did was change the baseline and make it where there's going to be a bigger disparity between the haves and have nots. I love the Horns but I'm not kidding myself. They're going to be very good, but would they without the NIL, nope.
That doesn't make me think they will beat Alabama.
