Tulsa 2019 senior 4INTs, 38 Ts, PBUs 13 from Cleburne, TX 4.44 forty with vertical 26 and 22X225. I'm good with it but he needs to come to play.
Guy has talent, but got injured. He's a good kind of player to bring in.

Allowed 44 of 64 targets last season. No thanks.
He was solid for Steelers then unexpectedly released as a cap casualty. Opted to sign a prove-it deal and did not “prove” worthy of a bigger deal. For the right price, he’s an upgrade. But CB still a significant need.

Part of his struggles last season could be that he was running more zone with Gannon as DC than he did with Steelers. Which would not bode well for him here… but at the right price he’s an upgrade which says more about the state of the outside CBs than him.

Desmond King two year extension, Tavierre Thomas slot after great year and Sauce Gardner.

I'd rather a UDFA than Nelson and as you said wrong system.

Just to prove how much Nick car stereo appreciates my opinion, after posting my comments above he went ahead and gave Nelson a 2-year 10 million dollar deal.

I keep telling you guys how important I am to the Texans organization.

I think the Texans 2022-2023 QB2 just got released…..by the Bears. Nick Foles is a FA. This would be a great signing if Caserio and Pep think he has something to offer the team and Mills.
Why did the Bears cut Nick Foles? The roster bonus wasn't that much. Was there a lingering injury for 2022?

This is exactly why the team didn’t draft an edge rusher when they couldn’t grab one early! Green will be 25 when the season starts with his best football in front of him. Will be similar style to Logan Hall (starting 4-3 base end, kick inside to DT passing downs).
One year contract. Your take?

I'm up here in the PNW now with Seahawks games televised and got to watch Green play this year. He played about 70% of the snaps and they occasionally did the goofy dropping him into coverage thing. Fans up here were getting a little impatient waiting for him show something and he finally flashed a little this year with the 6.5 sacks. He's very young and still getting stronger. Probably smart to not lock him up long term without knowing if he will continue to develop. He's someone that's good to have in the rotation as a stop gap until we find our guy at a minimum. Most up here wanted to keep him around.

I wish we would have a reason from the player as to why he accepted a one-year deal instead of a multi-year. His stats should have several teams wanting to sign him 4 to 5 years. Perhaps a safe decision on car stereos part but could lead to him leaving in 2023.

I'm liking this.

Good depth piece.
The ideal veteran leader that can still provide some juice on the DL. Very excited by today’s additions at the biggest need left on the team. Added a young player with his best football ahead of him and a veteran leader that can still give 6-8 sacks a season. A productive asset, not a “good locker room guy and that’s it” like previous regimes have let hang around too long.

This is my question too. it just seems to me that a young player signing for one year, assuming that was his decision, believes in his own upside. I haven’t seen anything from NC on this decision.

yep but why weren't other teams serenading him?
