The fact of the matter is, and the never Watson crowd ( - people that hated that the Texans moved up in the 2017 draft to pick him and never saw him as a franchise caliber QB1) knows this, the Texans aren't doomed if Watson never plays another down for them and they get nothing in return for him. Other NFL franchises have come back from the dead in a relatively short amount of time after similar circumstances. What team hasn't had to contend with a superstar caliber player lost to career ending injury, early retirement (the Colts with Luck as a recent example), or scandal? It happens.

If the Texans hired the right GM and head coach, losing Watson should be just a speed bump on route to a brighter future. However, if they fucked that up neither Watson nor a boatload of picks would move the needle much.

This post is nothing more than an attempt to invalidate those that said I told you so.

Fact is you're on an island backing a prevert at best and a sexual preditor at worst and nobody revels in this, or atleast I dont and I think you're passively agreesively referring to me and maybe a couple of other posters who knows a phony when they see one. Frankly I find this post dismissive and offensive considering the charges that have been brought and more that are going to brought. I cant wait as one of our posters said what's coming out tomorrow from Buzbee will be a have your popcorn ready moment. I'm personally going to sit back and enjoy the entertainment and you cant say the phony lifestyle DW4 is living and all of his dirty laundry coming out isn't entertaining.

Likely would be filed as a sexual assault charge. Rarely see them filed as rape in Harris County.
 
So as I read the 22nd lawsuit, complainant asked Watson via Instagram didn’t he have any licensed masseuses, he said he had plenty within the Texans organization but wanted to use her. Grabbed her butt during the session, told her she could sit on it. Then handed her an NDA to sign before he would pay her. Then sent her the money via cashapp
 
I dunno is the woman going to HPD one of Buzzbutts customers or does she have different representation ?

HOUSTON -- Another lawsuit has been filed against Deshaun Watson, this one alleging the Houston Texans quarterback assaulted a licensed aesthetician "by touching her with his penis and exposing himself."

The lawsuit, filed Friday night and made available on the Harris County District Clerk's website on Monday, said "Watson's behavior is part of a disturbing and escalating pattern." It was the 22nd lawsuit filed by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee since March 16.

The plaintiff alleges Watson "grabbed" her buttocks during a massage while his "penis was erect ... and completely exposed." The lawsuit alleges Watson told the massage therapist she had to sign a non-disclosure agreement before he would pay her for the massage.

The lawsuit says, "based on publicly available information, in a short time frame ... Watson used more than fifty different women for massages" and alleges that "Watson selected all of these women via social media, mostly through Instagram and through SnapChat." However, some of the lawsuits filed by Buzbee reference Watson booking a massage through a spa or through another referral.

The latest sexual assault lawsuit against Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson — the 22nd case of its kind lodged since last month — contends he used at least 50 women for massages and that he, at times, told them what to wear.


Some of the women, whom Watson found on social media, were unlicensed and did not specialize in massage therapy, court documents filed on Monday read. The latest plaintiff — a licensed esthetician — accuses Watson of assault and harassment, alleging that he inappropriately touched himself and her.

According to court documents, Watson found the woman on Instagram last November and asked for a massage. She tried referring him to a licensed massage therapist but he declined and insisted on an appointment for that night. The woman said Watson refused to use a sheet and used only “a wash cloth covering his butt,” according to the documents.

The massage escalated with Watson attempting to bring the woman’s hands closer to his penis.

The woman ended the massage abruptly and Watson then handed her a non-disclosure agreement to sign.

“In order for him to pay her, she had to sign,” court papers read.

She signed the document and Watson paid her $250 through CashApp — about four times more than what the service should have cost.

Ok I’m not a legal wizard so...if DW gave this woman, and others, a NDA would or could it simply state that they would not reveal the fact that they met or would it have to specify what actions are not to be revealed? Also shouldn’t the NDA be signed before their meeting began rather than after? After sounds a little like extortion if he wouldn’t pay otherwise. Edit. Thanks CnD for the PDF. Seems to me one of the most damning statement is the one made calling out the NFL for fostering this type of activity. The NFL is now “on the clock”.

Embolded above is the title on the Bible that Buzbee uses as a north star. No doubt that Watson is guilty, to some extent or another .... but the classless muckraking that this ambulance chaser is engaging in, makes me want to puke. He's not seeking justice .... even the money is secondary .... it's fame and notoriety that he so desperately craves ! What a worm ! No wait .... if your a gutter or garbage dweller, I guess he could be a maggot ! The first announcement, focused on a poor girl who rubbed adult bodies for a living. When she saw his erection, it unnerved her so badly, she ran away in such shock violently sick to her stomach and sh!t her pants during the retreat. Yeah .... Right ! Of course, someone with a little class advised Buzbee to stop that report ! You do realize Buzbee is one of the most famous and wealthy lawyers in Texas right? He doesn’t need the fame or even the money really. He maybe doing it because he likes being the ring master of this circus but he is a long way from your common ambulance chaser.

Also do you know that you just said a lawyer that, in your words, is “seeking fame and notoriety” is worst than someone who sexually assaults women? I mean if Watson is guilty as you say then that’s what he has done so yeah the fact that you don’t consider that worst than anything Buzbee has done. Well there are no words for that.

could be but the problem is that it can’t be ignored in today’s world and the NFL. These women will have to answer to these charges within the HPD investigation.

I know that much. I just was wondering how specific the disclosures had to be spelled out because if it was to simply have the woman not disclose she was hired then why not just sign it upfront. He could claim his sports status made it prudent. If he asked her to sign something later it really sounds like something bigger happened.

The wording of the NDA could also lead it to being thrown out in court if it was truly downloaded from the internet template

Dang it! That really blows my plan to get my local bank staff to sign an NDA and then rob the bank! Looks like I'm going to need a different retirement plan - who knows anything about 401K's?

This is great for you because you have never been as big on Watson the player as many on this forum. I don't think you wanted things to play out as they have but getting rid of Watson is right up your alley. Be prepared for the same merry go round of Qb's we once went through and will go through again just to find the Qb that is the right fit. We would be lucky to find another Qb thought to be a franchise Qb.

I think he is going on the premise that many of these women are not victims but are going for the brass ring by attaching themselves to this case. The number of women seems fishy. I am not condoning Watsons behavior even if only one woman was assaulted. Still this case seems to be over the top. All I can say is let the cards be dealt and hopefully we get most of the truth.
 
This ordeal gets weirder by the day. It's now up to over 50 women. And Watson carries an NDA into a massage appointment? If true, to me, he knew what his intentions were walking into all those rooms. Good lawyer will drain his bank accounts. If these allegations are true, hope he spends time in the pokey, where there will be plenty of people there to play with his anus.

As a respected friend informed me, just like the NFL has a strong investigative security arm, so does each team. Teams will commonly thoroughly rummage through every bit of background of a player they potentially think of trading for...........especially a high profile, high cost player.............and especially if there potential road blocks to their availability. They want to know that the player will come to them free and clear. The last thing they want is to trade for a player who has potential litigation and suspensions that could take at least 1 season and very possibly more to resolve. Carolina and Miami did their due diligence and decided that from all signs they were getting so far, Watson and crew are bent on fighting the lawsuits rather than settling. No team having a GM with his head screwed on straight would want to be dragged into that type of lingering mess.

This evening, I spoke to a certified massage therapist of 15 years that I have known through hospital dealings. She tells me that she has served many high-profile clients in and out of hospital settings. NDAs that she has been asked to sign are presented at the first encounter. They are binding indefinitely. They usually specifically cover not disclosing or acknowledging their professional relationship, nor disclosing anything in their conversations that she was not privy to outside of the sessions. She has never been asked to sign an NDA AFTER a session...........nor an NDA including any mention of sexual activities during a session.
