Just an LFY..............only ~175 Watson supporters showed up at NRG.Just got this, whatever you want to call it, from a coworker. I wonder if people are really going to show up?

Not necessarily. Houston tells him if he wants to be traded he waives the ntc.
If he doesn't waive it, he doesn't get traded. Period.
I was wondering if this would be the case"Right now Deshaun Watson's agent is trying to run the Texans" -- Brian T Smith on SiriusXM
Is pettiness one of the stages of being a Texans' fan or is it one of the stages of grief when you lose your franchise QB?
I think the the talent deficiency was QB. Their WR, TE, OL talent was good to pretty dang good. I thought they had one of the top defenses last yearWe know that now but IMO most thought TB didn't have good roster before TB was signed.
Wait so not talking is acting out? also not talking is seen as being a behavioral issue? boy yall love saying anything that has no basis.Plus, if he is keeps acting out. The FO can say we are not paying you. And/or just bench him and fine him this year. While the clause is in the contract, I'm fairly certain that they also have a behavior section. A good legal person in the FO could easily state the behavior that is being shown violates that part of the contract. And then Watson is even more at the mercy of the FO. Keep it in mind that the contract is not just 3 pages or something. They are books almost with things like that in them. Look at Mahomes, he can't do almost anything athletic or it is a violation of his contact. If KC wanted to be a bunch of asses they could say the Kola Challenge he did with his girlfriend violated his contact (it's on YouTube). I mean she is 100 and some pounds and is hanging on his arms, neck and shoulders. She could have injured him. I'm using that as an example, I highly doubt any team would ever call that any type of violation... but in theory it somewhat is.
Are you kidding?? Hell no!! More clicks please!!Can we end the conversation now?

House and Car shopping maybe
That's the problem when you go to your QB and include him in the discussion....if you don't act on his recommendation they get butt-hurt.The fact is that Watson did meet with McNair TWICE discussing GM & HC candidates.
He didn't get what he wanted in the GM and that's the disconnect.
Looking at Cal, Easterby and Caserio for at least the next 5 years is a bit shocking and overwhelming with the idea of no escape from the bowels of the NFL basement. His 2 HC requests (Bienemy and Saleh) did not even get a request to interview. They were all completely ignored. The two meetings with Cal were a complete waste of time. The GM hire, he saw on social media, said more of the same, same offense, same defense, same old Patriots way because this is all they know, the Patriots Way. Familiarity breeds contempt. Deshaun's Christmas tree was empty, it had no presents under it.The fact is that Watson did meet with McNair TWICE discussing GM & HC candidates.

Caserio wasn't my first choice but he's infinitely qualified , Watson has little to complain about when it comes to qualifications.
That might be true, but what does it have to do with a a post equating Watson's character to Harden and China apologists? That is what I was responding to.The fact is that Watson did meet with McNair TWICE discussing GM & HC candidates.

That really surprises me even with the fog.Just an LFY..............only ~175 Watson supporters showed up at NRG.
Well if he ever needs someone to help him out with Brittney I will make the sacrifice. I am good like that.Plus, if he is keeps acting out. The FO can say we are not paying you. Take one for the team?Well if he ever needs someone to help him out with Brittney I will make the sacrifice. I am good like that.
There may have been presents under the $156 million new money but my sources tell me Deshaun is still digging---Looking at Cal, Easterby and Caserio for at least the next 5 years is a bit shocking and overwhelming with the idea of no escape from the bowels of the NFL basement. Hell no! Taking many for me...Take one for the team?
I’m suprised Richard didn’t lobby for the 49ers
I don't think he expects to be with the 49ers next year. If anything, he might be signed as a FA with the...J-E-T-SI’m suprised Richard didn’t lobby for the 49ers
my only fear is even if we do hire eric or frashier watson wont resign agian and be gone in 5 years anyways

Cal should have never involved Watson in the GM search. However, the question I have is did Cal communicate with Watson that he would look at GM candidates, but Caserio was his #1 choice, he has been waiting three years to hire Caserio and detail why he felt Caserio would be a good fit for the Texans and bringing championships to Houston? Did Cal state that another candidate would have to really blow him away to beat Caserio? The head coach candidates didn't get an interview ?
Wasn't it stated by Cal that they would hire a GM first and that the GM would make the decision on who the coach would be ? What's the point of interviewing coaches when the guy making the decision isn't in place ?!
Watson's #1 choice did get interviewed - After the GM was in place. He has been the frontrunner for that position since the day OB got fired and still is to this moment.
There's tremendous pressure from ownership (Not just the McNair's) to make that happen , specifically tp placate Watson.
As for the system .... the GM doesn't dictate that , that's the coaching staff , the HC and OC neither of which have been hired yet.

This is as arrogant as trying to tell Cal who to hire.Cal should have never involved Watson in the GM search.
McClain has already dispelled this rumor. He laid out the sequence of events in the Chronicle. He also shot down the rumor about offering Khan a deal. Finally, ask your source if there is any truth to the SI story that Cal was influenced by Easterby and his agent.
You're guilty of using common sense and logic. That simply does not apply when dealing with the FUBAR Houston Texans. The Texans were interviewing HC candidates several weeks before Caserio was hired. Up until the time Caserio was hired Bienemy and Saleh were never contacted to interview. The Bienemy interview only scheduled after national media began discussing that Eric was never contacted. They had to break NFL rules to get it done yesterday. Caserio has been onboard for almost 3 weeks and Bienemy was only just contacted a few days ago after the Texans had painted themselves into a corner. The head coach candidates didn't get an interview ?

Jim Caldwell, Marvin Lewis, & Joe Brady. Brady the only one interviewed by another team. I wonder now if any of them were real candidates. The Texans were interviewing HC candidates several weeks before Caserio was hired.
Fact: Only one person is butt hurt about hiring Caserio.
Jamey Rootes says hi..
Based on Andre’s comments that very well might be the case and closer to the truth than some of the recent posts in this thread.I was going to mention this as well. Also, and I could be wrong, but I think it’s less about no going with his choice and more about Easterby influencing the process.
I'm just saying Cal is the issue. Not Easterby. Firing Easterby does nothing to fix the problem.Only this clown show of an organization would be putting itself under this much stress over jack f-ing easterby, who has clearly become a cancer.

People on here are quick to say fire players who become cancers even if they’re all pro but somehow are quick to defend the organization and are even on board with trading Watson just to toe the company line.
Maybe a part of the solution to the Cal problem, in other words top leadership issues, was the hiring of Nick Caserio. If the Texans hire a "leader of men" HC that players will "run through brick walls for", he also helps solve the Cal problem. Cal can back away from micro-managing the team and start to blend in to the background, only to be seen and heard from again when he is hoisting the Lombardi trophy. So out of the leadership hierarchy that led to this mess, who remains?I'm just saying Cal is the issue. Not Easterby. Firing Easterby does nothing to fix the problem.
If you get to the point that you think Cal is the issue and you don't think you can win a championship under his leadership. If you are a player, what would you do?I'm just saying Cal is the issue. Not Easterby. Firing Easterby does nothing to fix the problem.
Caldwell and Lewis are definitive candidates if Watson is to be traded. Brady won't come here, at that point. Same with Bieniemy. The Texans will be fortunate to get a retread like these guys after trading away the franchise QB.I wonder now if any of them were real candidates.
