They’re playing backups to backups. It’s not a talent thing here. We’ve just got too much dumbass on our side of the ball. Too much “rpo” that says handing the ball of to David Johnson is the right call.
 
Eh, about what I expected. They did hold the Packers under 100 yards rushing, but they were using a backup RB. Meanwhile we insist on trying to establish our starting backup RB.

With Roby out, the defense had one legit starter out there, and he looks like he's ready to get the **** out of here.

This is a bad, bad football team, thanks to it being gutted by bad, bad personnel moves, by a bad, bad GM/HC. It's going to take a minute or 2 to recover from this mess.

I don't get why some blast Watson today, was he perfect? No ofcorse not. The issue here is the defense.....they can't stop anybody. The Packers didn't even need to try to run the ball and we all know how terrible we are against the run.

on 4th& 1, who decided not to pitch the ball when the read was to pitch the ball? That’s the same processing power that goes into every decision made after the snap.

And we all know the defense sucks. What does that have to do with the Watson's ability to generate points in the first half when it was still a game?

Watson is elite and OBrien was holding him back. OBrien is gone and no longer holding him back.

So why was it 21-0 at halftime and not 21-17? Why could he not lead a scoring drive anytime other than when his team was at least 3 scores behind today?

When you are surrounded by incompetence you slowly lose trust in players. We have already seen 31 fumble a pitch on a wide open RPO. We have seen him have zero vision when trying to run it in from the 1. The guy is trash and I am sure Watson doesn’t trust him. It was a bad play call and executed poorly.

Yes he should have pitched it. But as we have all seen, David is not to be trusted. I do not believe he would’ve gotten the first down. Dude does not run the ball hard and with power.

They should’ve had Duke in the game. Maybe Watson would’ve trusted him

It’s just harder to see. The defense put up three 3 & outs to start the 2nd half. Can’t see that on a scoreboard when your offense can’t score TDs

Or when you done gave up 28 points in the 1st half.

Probably leave it to @76Texan to break down the game. I personally thought it was game over before half time. the defense looked like they can't stop anybody no matter what our offense did.

We seriously need a running game.

Tannehill found the right situation. He was brought in as insurance.

Watson is in a bad situation. I wouldn't have resigned here. But he did. So I dont feel to bad for him

You’re right, Watson is the only good thing we got. But the gap between what we’re getting from Watson right now & the NFL standard, is huge.

No not elite - has been solid the last few games... but I used to have a hat that said "It's hard to soar like an eagle, when your surrounded by turkeys" think it fits the Texans pretty well here.

Execution is horrible from damn near everyone, stupid penalties at exactly the wrong time - it's the Benny Hill offense and Keystone Cops defense out there.
