Will we stomp the Titans' mule?

Going for two was not the right call- even with our garbage defense, you’re still better off leading by 8 with less than two minutes to go...you force them, again, to score a TD and make a 2 pt conversion...of course, if our kicker hadn’t choked earlier on the PAT, you wouldn’t even have to make the decision

Our defense is so bad, all we need is a few players on defense to make it better than what it is now. They need a plug in the middle on the d-line and another cb better than Hargreaves....both of those can definitely be had in 1 offseason.

Sure we may not be a top defense with just adding that, but certainly better than this rancid **** on the field now.

Amazing what can happen when you have the worst offensive minded guy calling the shots. I really like Kelly and Watson. They are creating some nice things. Kelly needs to learn to stop running on first down. Establish the run some other way. Running out of the I and off tackle is much more efficient for David Johnson. Stop pounding him up the middle.
 
LB Corps period. B-Mac can’t cover and is now damaged goods. Cunningham is supposed to be our “coverage” LB, but isn’t too much more of an improvement in that area over B-Mac and is an inconsistent tackler. Mercy is just terrible from every standpoint imaginable as an outside rusher and edge setter. I’d be in favor of dumping/trading all 3.

Dylon Cole was a nice coverage LB, why doesn’t he get PT?

I wonder why we haven't seen Cole except on ST's, I mean he can't be any worse right?
 
I didn't see the last quarter of the game. At least not after that long TD run by Henry.

At least the offense is showing signs now that OB is gone.

I wrote before the season began that this might be the worst (healthy) Texans defense in the history of the team. I stand by that. Worse than having a pretty shoddy starting rotation, there's no depth in the front 7. Watt can't play every single down, nor can he play several positions at once either.

The best thing the Texans can do now is trade away some guys for draft picks next year. Do it before the Texans run them down and risk injury thus offering no trade value in the off-season. The defense isn't going to get better and the offense can't average 40+ points a week.
