Time to TRY to reboot against Jax!

Glad to see the win.

However, don’t forget that was a 1-3 team though missing a bunch of their best defenders. Also the team will be the most energised by the change they’ll ever be.
Agreed, but still better than losing to a winless team with a banged up secondary and no chance to practice.... *cough cough last weekend cough*... .. oh excuse me... dont worry Im wearing a mask.

No, we did not beat a team coached by Vince Lombardi, but it is a win and we needed something to get the team going. Let's just be happy they won and see what next week brings.

A little early to say that we're playing better without BOB. But not too early to know that it's way more fun watching them without him on the sidelines feeling like he was holding us back.
I think it’s reasonable to take it week by week and this week we were clearly more focused, more aggressive, more disciplined, and not outcoached. Let’s see how next week goes

Well, it was a bit of a dead cat bounce, but I'll take any kind of bounce going right now.

Having tested O'Brien Positive for the last six years, it feels good to finally be free of that virus.

That is all we can do. There is no reason to worry about if Dallas or KC or whoever loses. With an extra Playoff team this year, 8 Wins just might get us there. Let's just try to get to .500 and see how things go.

Everyone knows the Jags are bad. Relax high speed, don’t hurt yourself patting yourself on the back.

I think where most people are finding joy in this win is how much better the team looks by the pure play calling and players playing hard. Additionally, we all can acknowledge how much better this JAGS team would have looked with OB the HC.

It all adds to the excitement.

What improvements did you see?
I think the offense used all levels of the field today And put the skill players in better positions. We learned the run game wasn’t working at first, so we forced the pass and allowed it to open the run game up, DW4 appeared to have More flexibility at the line. The defense got more aggressive as the game wore on (let’s see if they continue that trend). The group didn’t get down when things didn’t go there way like in games past. The overall energy was higher today. I loved the fact RAC could make decisions without burning timeouts.

Honestly, the only real difference I saw was the defense playing with a lead in the 2nd half.

lol....there was little difference, if any. Would’ve been the same result if OB was coaching today.

lol at people who actually think we’re gonna see any significant tangible culture change 5 days after OB was fired.

We’re not gonna see that until this entire coaching group and o/d systems are scrapped, and a brand new structure is put in place, starting with the weirdo VP/interim GM.

I halfway expect Easterby to be Gm, Crennel to be head coach next season, with the same exact staff below him.

You are aware that Crennel is a horrible NFL head coach, right?

This entire team is playing w house money this year. Of course the culture will change. If players are saying it’s happening already, why would we doubt that?

OB wouldn’t have gone for it on 4th. That alone is a HUGE difference.
OB would have been running it behind the center on every play. I don’t think I saw that today at all. Huge improvement. :kitten:

Early I thought we saw Watson continue to misfire, especially when throwing to Cooks. I'm still not happy with how we utilize DJ & DJ.

I was also expecting to get to the LOS earlier & running more pre-snap motion. This would help both the passing & running game.

First play of the game we gained 10 yards on the ground. I thought we ran well early, enough to move the chains, stay on schedule.

Wasn't game changing, or game control type of running. Jacksonville was loose & gave up easy yards.

Yes, the first TD drive (I believe) was all passes. I did like that, but other than Jacksonville being really bad I didn't see much different from what we were doing the first three games.

Like I said during the game, I didn't notice them playing looser. Please, show me where I'm wrong.

This game I'll probably make time to watch it again. Hopefully I missed a lot because I was looking for something else.

This statement is more of dig at Biily O then RAC. In this game RAC, was better at making in game decisions and clock management than Billy O ever was. I don’t think anyone here is saying RAC is some kind of messiah. However, one game in you would have to be blind not see he is an upgrade since the cancer in the organization was removed.

That must be why Crennel was so much more successful as an NFL coach than OBrien was.

There is a technical term for this. They were discombobulated ! But they didn't look like they were just going through the motions. Watson looked a little off to me .... he did last week too. Something's wrong .... physical or mental .... I don't know .... but I think he will recover. Problem is, the team relies heavily on him for inspiration. Here, I think, is the bottom line .... whatever it is, I think Romeo is the perfect person to smooth it out !

Good idea to rewatch the game.
Mind you, it's pretty much the same playbook.
But they pick out the plays that emphasize getting the ball out of the hand of the QB quicker.
