Yes, Texans won AFC division but that's not what we are talking about. In addition, major changes in our D has happened. Reader gone, Blackson gone black lock in. Also two new backup safeties to new starter Eric Murray. We have no clue to what the defense is going to be. That is mentioned throughout this message board. Once again my position is simple. DeShaun Watson has not proven to be a Super Bowl championship quarterback. Our defense is not proven to be a Super Bowl championship defense. My position is on paper this entire roster could win the Superbowl.

No.. The conversation did not. I never said the roster or any part of it was championship caliber. You jumped to that conclusion probably by skimming or speed reading and forming idea in your mind. I've said my position repeatedly and will not respond to you on this subject again. I also didn't say our team better than Chiefs. But inferior teams have beaten better ones for years.

That may be true stats wise but Brady didn't have the arsenal of weapons Mahomes has this early in his career nor the pass heavy rules. It is what it is, and right now Mahomes is the man.

That's exactly what I'm saying. We're three years in from here he can go the way of Brady & be much more than Brady ever was. He could go the way of Manning, much more talented, & just not have the success of Brady, or he could go the way of McNabb. More talented than either Brady/Manning not anywhere close to the success of the other two.

Good question. for good reason most of the focus is on DeShaun Watson. DeShaun Watson of 2019 with today's roster as it is on paper in my opinion could have put us into the Super Bowl. Watson Has to improve this year and I base my opinion on that. I honestly say you and others are focusing on last year's roster because that's what we know. I understand all concerns you have and agree at least to some extent. The new money is huge burn in my gut but that ship sailed. To clarify I think #4 and this year's roster is better than KC 2019 team. Let the flames begin. Lol

You made it very simple for people to understand. You think this team is better than KC (which implies we can win a super bowl)

And my rebuttal to that is it doesn’t make sense. Either our QB and/or defense need to be championship quality, which you have said neither are.
