Texans random thought of the day

Uncle Rico

Ur apology should be as loud as Ur disrespect was
"Bill OBrien Aint going nowhere!!!!" ... neither is Deshaun Watson LOL.

How has your relationship with QB Deshaun Watson grown over time?

"Deshaun and I, I'll let him speak for his side of it, but I love the guy. He's an excellent football player, but he's an even better person. He cares about his teammates, he cares about being as good of a player and a teammate as he can be every single day, he tries to get better every day. He's a very smart player. He's gotten better and better, he's improved every single year, and we obviously feel very good about and very fortunate to have him on our football team. I think having that position, as we all know, is very important and we feel like we have an excellent player there."
How has QB Deshaun Watson improved as a leader?
"He's an excellent leader. I'd say first and foremost he leads by example. He leads with his work ethic, he's out there every day at practice. He's in early, he stays late, he works in the weight room, takes care of his body. He'll do whatever needs to be done at practice, stay after practice to fix a route or go out early to try to work on center-quarterback cadence or things like that. So, he does a lot of different things on and off the field to help us as a leader. He's an excellent leader."

Steel is asking us to not look at stats, PFF or our lying eyes.

Bro he has to stick to his agenda. Plus he has to be right. Or if we grabbed a guy he liked, then he would defend the stuffing out of him. Example: the offensive line is marginally better. But you don’t see him talking down on them anymore. Reason being he liked the moves O’Brien made.

I haven't liked all of the moves BOB has made. Devlin is still employed.

Why isn't Chris Harris a Texan by now?

For that matter Suh too?

#McNair'sliketheir$$$$
Harris would be my guy to sign. I think Suh should be a no-brainer. Watt is going to need some help this season and Suh would command some attention. Really wanted to add DE, Robert Quinn but the Bears just made their defense one of the NFL's best.

Suh? That's straight-up character issues.

Why sign Harris when we got Roby and Hargreaves back? (probably the thinking)
The Texans need those charachter issues and nasty demeanor in the middle at the moment.

B/c Roby and Hargreaves are not Harris. Harris like 80% of the CB's in the NFL need a defensive rush to be as effective as they think they are. KJax was exactly that as well. Denver moved him to S.....where he should've been from Day 1 with the Texans.....and reaped the rewards for a smart move.

Texans facebook still haven't announced anything about the trade or anything
My recommendation to them when they do.. disable the comments

Coaches film will be available for free from the NFL. Anyone want to dive into the mystery of the Deshaun Watson floating right myth? How about the "he's got receivers open all over the place" lie? Propose a hypothesis .. name the game and we can all follow along step for step.

too bad you Aholes ran off @76Texan this would have been his redemption song.

Typically, running backs come into the league ready for liftoff. After just a couple of years their production starts to decline...not all RB’s but most of them. WR’s on the other hand really start to polish their route running (among others) skills after a couple of years in the NFL. The Texans swapped a WR in his prime for a running back that has been on the decline.

Instead of coming to grips with what Texans have done, or at least accepting it, I’m just as baffled today as I was the day Hopkins was traded. The swap, the cap hits, the logical projection of the two players, I just can’t make the puzzle pieces fit. Can someone help me figure this out? A logical explanation would be greatly appreciated it. I would expect an explanation from the Texans FO and ownership but it’s very apparent that’s not going to happen. I don’t even know what Cal’s voice sounds like. I’ve personally never heard him speak.

It still sucks, but what can I do.

Tell me it’s going to get better, santo. Tell me it’s going to be alright, that I’m going to wake up and O’Brien will be gone and none of this actually happened.
I wake up looking at the news to see if OB is getting fired and the corona virus numbers declining. Sadly the only thing that may come true is the corona virus going away. OB is here to stay. :(

No one and I mean no one can give you the logical answer you so desire and deserve. That including the man behind this asinine trade.
