What does his inflated salary have to do with anything? He works for one of the dumbest media outlets that exists today who had a ton of layoffs the last few years directly because of Steven A. Smith and a ton of other foolish characters from that network that John Skipper hired before he was let go for doing coke every day on the job (No surprise there)
Sure if your standards are for lies and fake news and errors on air all day long. The only complimentary thing I'd say about Steven A. Smith is that he isn't as bad as his counter part Max Kellerman. ESPN can love him all they want, but they and him are also a huge reason why the NBA is currently struggling with viewership so bad. His constant dumb ideas and their awful exclusive coverage on the sport have driven a ton of viewers out of there just like their own company has.

Steven A Smith provides examples practically every day that I can provide as examples. He has a black audience that spends half the time attacking him racially even on his own show their content is so bad. But in the end they still watch him faithfully. You're part of that and that's also why you came in to defend him with off topic accusations about me. You used to make the same laughable arguments about Jemele Hill and Michael Smith and we all saw what a fail that was.

Where are all of his white fans? I've never met one in my life. Its mainly only brothers I know that actually like him, and again they make him a lightning rod of controversy any time he isn't on the "woke" side of things. He was recently just called an Uncle Tom on his own show for not being Pro Kaepernick and the show itself did nothing to stand up for him while he was racially insulted by a guy that was the league's biggest cancer. I mean you can say that others watch him but where? He's on every show they broadcast, and he probably works at least 60 hours a week. There is no escaping the guy if you try to get any sports coverage on cable tv. He's mainly just a loudmouth character that people reference because they have to, but he's a constant lightning rod for "race issues" and political stuff even after ESPN was forced to fire those other personalities who went even further. Again, I could load examples for days that would get almost any type of employee fired if they worked anywhere else.
Maybe he will be like Reid in another 12 yrs

Reid isn't the GM, Dorsey is. Reid and Dorsey report to the owner on equal terms (somehow Reid made that set-up work, unlike O'Brien)

That doesn't look like Reid is the "defacto" GM to me. That looks like what GM/HC "alignment" should be. Unlike O'Brien who makes power plays that seem to get his GMs fired.
Veatch is actually the GM and Reid has final say in personnel. That's why Dorsey left to become GM of the Browns from which he's since been fired. (Again)
I would say Veatch/Reid have the same relationship BOB/Easterby and if he comes here after the draft Caserio will have, even with different titles.

Basically, it took Andy Reid 4 seasons to get his team to become a perennial top 10 offense. Bill O'Brien, after 6 years, still trying to get out of the bottom half.
Andy Reid then basically did the same thing in KC. He took almost the worst offense in football and quickly transformed it to one of the best. It was already top 10, even before Mahomes & Tyreek got there.

I agree with a lot of your takes, but not this one. Do you think DW4 is just not capable to win a championship? Or do you think DW4 cannot win one under OB's offensive philosophy? Personally I think DW4 is plenty good enough to win it all in any scheme as long as the supporting cast is up to the task as well.

I also think DW4 has to modify his style of play to have a chance to win a championship. Some have done this but it's very rare and I dont see DW4 being able to do this.
Even if he is able to change his game his ceiling is limited due to accuracy/anticipation issues.

BOB did change what he wants to do to better fit DW4's skillset. Defenses have caught up to what DW4 wants to do.
Because to win you have to be able to stay patient step up in the pocket and deliver a throw with accuracy/anticipation. You're 1st thought shouldn't be run Deshaun run.
You can design some plays to move him around some, but winning championships requires being able to read defenses and throwing from the pocket. Scrambling should be an option of last resort.
