For the record, my “prediction” was posted in jest. I stopped predicting scores when I gave up gambling. I’m not even convinced the Texans will win this game much less cover the spread (assuming the Texans are giving points).

I’m simply not convinced the Texans have turned the proverbial curve. It’s hard to forget the trouncing they took from Baltimore, it wasn’t that long ago. I’m hoping getting the monkey off their back by beating the Patriots will be a springboard to greater things to come but I just don’t know. The monkey might run back to claw their eyes out this weekend.

I'm just a carpenter and I only really follow the Texans so I dont really know. Maybe Wade Phillips? His dad coached the Oilers and he was the one who drafted JJ Watt. How old is Wade? What about Watson's college coach? He seems pretty smart. I know ive seen enough of Obrien, ive been on the fence with him the last few years but after today I'm done with it. I'm willing to take a chance on somebody else. Surely there are some good candidates around the league. I'm ready for a new era either way.

That empty backfield formation sux. It invites red dogging, there are no backs to stay in and block, and Watson isn't very good under a blitz.

On a 4th down play, I think you have to get Watson on the move so he has the option to either pass or run.

This is the most disappointing part of the game. Broncos has a good defense and you knew they would slow the Texans offense down a bit. But Drew Lock shouldn't be looking like the 2nd coming of John Elway. The secondary has been horrendous.

Going into this game, the Broncos' offensive coordinator, Rich Scangarello was on the hot seat for not being able to adjust after his scripted plays. I guess he looks like a freaking genius after today's win.
