Reed's a heck of a returner, and the Texans are trying to revamp special teams. I just can't get that play out of my mind where Mayfield breaks Reed's ankles on a juke, then out races him to the pylon for a TD. They show it over and over on NFL Network.

With the uncertainty of Foreman's return, the Texans need an additional inside runner to complement Lamar Miller at RB. Is Josh Adams that guy? I don't know if a RB that runs that upright will make it as a inside runner in the NFL. But do the Texans have a choice at this point? The RB class is thin at the bottom of the draft, just as FA was thin at RB.

Both players fill a need. There are better players available, but they may not fit the Texans (Buckeyes Jerome Baker and Jaylen Holmes, for two). There are a couple of nice OT projects (Senat, Roth), but the Texans already have 2 in the fold. I'm voting a tepid yes for Josh Adams. Should have taken a RB earlier.
