That's kinda extreme, I may not be watching the game, but I'm assuming Watt is still out which means Merc got the sack on his own. He's still fighting the losing battle which shows heart. If anything bench him to save him for next year, he's the second best pass rusher on the team

I like Mercilus but he does need to be called out for celebrating when you are getting your ass handed to you 27-0 late in the game. No place for that in a team game. There is nothing to celebrate here. I'd take him out for a play or two but this was hardly a "felony".
 
I had visions of this before the game.

I didn't want to verbalized it, but I thought to myself right before the game that IF we were going to lose id prefer that we see a spectacular **** show by Hoyer so there is no doubt left that we need a qb in this upcoming draft.
 
I get keeping a Brett Favre in after tossing a half dozen picks. But Brian Hoyer? What has he ever done to deserve this type of devotion and belief?

Why would we do that? For winning a division no one not even the fans expected us to win and for overachieving? I know many will disagree, but B'OB has earned another year. Lets see if/how he addresses the issues of this team and not knee-jerk and fire everyone.
 
If that f-ing clown is on this team even as a water boy next year I won't watch another down of Texans football until they clean house from top to bottom.

And that is who O'Brien reminds me of..... How dare this owner give us this crap. I've seen members badmouth Andre, but a great career ruined by a crap team, and now we have to witness the same thing with JJ... I'm sorry, but I'm not happy about that.

Because he has shown plenty to contradict his ability to find and groom a QB. If you don't trust him long term you cannot allow him to pick our QB

If this team does not go ALL IN to fix this QB mess heading into next year, I will be upset. I'll reserve judgment to see what they do about the QB problem in this off-season. If they do nothing, it's going to be harder to keep caring, since it will look like they don't.
 
Dammit can't even get garbage points for fantasy. Get the toothpicks in BOB's eyelids so he can't shut them so he sees what EVERYBODY else has known before the season started.

Not to mention, Hopkins. If we keep up this garbage, no way he stays here.
 
I wonder how many games this team wins with Bridgewater instead of drafting Clowney. Especially in this garbage division, I'm thinking 11. They won 9 with this crapfest of QB by committee, and Clowney didn't do squat for it.
 
Just to clarify again why I don't miss Kubiak, it's because when he was here the offensive gameplan was strictly run, run, pass, punt. He rode the talent of Arian Foster during his best seasons here and that was really it.

We lost this game due to our QB play, I agree no need to clean house. We are a QB and RB away from dominance IMO.

Just for the Hoyer decision alone.

That screwed this team and if what I heard is correct it's part of the reason he was gun shy on qb's in the first draft. He wanted Hoyer to be his qb since his first year here.

Lol I just talked to my wife whow knows less tHan zero about football. She asked how the game is going. I said our qb keeps throwing the ball to the other team. She says "why don't they take him out?".

My answer, I don't know.
 
If there isn't a new QB in our future, I'm not going to like next year. Our defensive players will be old, gray, and in their rockers before our offense scores anything. What a load of crap our offense is.
 
I'm just going to count my blessings I guess. The calendar year 2015 saw the Astros, Rockets, and Texans go to the playoffs. First time since 1980 I believe. The Cougars had a great season beating a good team in a good bowl game. And the Dallas Stars have the best record in the NHL (still, I think).

Not even sniffing a Championship, but a lot of games have gone my team's way this year.

I know the Hoyer decision is bad, but it's not like he passed on a great QB and chose Hoyer instead. The great teams/franchises have patience. Lets see how B'OB reacts to this. There are many positives to this team, lets see if they can build on it. If not, then yes. But this is the wrong year to be firing the coach and going in a different direction.
