Louis Nix

i know this thread is about Nix but something important was also said about Sua'Fila. OBrien bragged a lot on him and IMO it was not only to show a divide between the two players. I got more out of that than about Nix. Louis, get to Houston and get your boss on your side. Vacation with family is done..get to work.

He should be forced to share a burlap sack with Vince Wilfork until TC. Real life 24-hour three-legged race just doing everything like his idol the rest of the offseason.

At the very least he'll have his bbq game tightened up.

Since Nix, especially after last year, did not have enough sense to train here in Houston instead of Florida, I believe there could be an immediate make-it or break-it event (before Wilfork et al even have a chance to "reform" him)............based on if he comes back looking like an Adonis or lia balloon.

I can see BOB and NIX having a come to Jesus meeting in the near future.

Ummm - Seth was a damn good NFL player and more specifically DT/NT.

He's also a lot brighter than the average NFL player.

That's freakin' awesome. Seth has a way of saying things from the perspective of a former NFL player (and former Houston Texan) that need to be said and HEARD by both the Texans and Nix.

I'm not saying Nix is a lost cause, but he'd better pull his head out or the sentiment expressed by Seth will become a growing chorus among fans.

Should check out Nix's Twitter timeline after BOB and Seth made these comments. He is hearing it all right.

That "cant sleep" twitter comment was made in Houston. Look at the location stamp. It was one day after O'Briens comments.

sorry, that don't mean a lot to me. When did he return to Houston and when did he get his plane ticket? We don't know the answer to that. Did he even hear of OB's comments? We don't know.

You can turn location attachment on and off. You can also pick basically ANY location to say where you are. My opinion is that he put it there to make a comment without actually saying anything.

He could also be lying

Watt has proven his commitment to an NFL training program year around. Even he has received some criticism for his training technique. (ie box jumping over 3' is too much of a risk according to some)

Nix is still a question mark in dedication, knowledge and execution. It is possible, but even if true, the questions remains on whether he's on the correct path in each phase.

Bargaining agreements establish MINIMUMS required by players. But Coaches prefer OPTIMUMS which includes knowledge beyond minimums.
