I have been wondering doc, what are the chances that Cushing comes back strong next season after another year off and another year of rehab.. I know the injuries are different but this reminds me alot of Meco after everyone wrote him off after the Achilles

For as much **** as Fitz got in Houston this year he played a great season with us, coming in I didn't expect him to be anywhere close to as good as he was, he extended drives with his legs and despite all the short passes I would gladly have that guy back as a backup QB for us next year, hes much better than our other backup QB's in the past such as Leinart and Rosen.

I was saying before the season started that I think the Texans can win 9 games, maybe 10 with Fitz.
I expected a little more from him.

Yeah? I work out of town alot, sorta absent from the boards here for a good chunks at a time. I figures wed be 8-8 and I was pretty happy with fitz's play.

Cushing.........NONE

Demeco last year was rated 53 out of 54 ILBs last year........the 54th retired.
His tackle numbers that seem to be the numbers people focus on are a function of the Philly D funneling the run up the middle to him.......and that he was the top snap count in the NFL.

I get the nostalgia, but he's not what he was when he was younger and really hasn't been for a while.

Don't get me wrong. It's great that we're up 18 points.

Excuse me for being concerned that we're not cashing in on turnovers and opportunity after opportunity after opportunity with sevens instead of threes, because that stuff doesn't fly against the truly good teams, which is what we want to be, right?

Any other time, and literally every single person on this board would be infuriated that we're not getting TDs.
