Sad thing Pitt cannot check Houston Wideouts but we call lame pass plays
 
There was one play, Fitz was alone in the backfield; he was pressured some but stepped up and had a moment to throw. All five of our receivers were covered - I believe one on one. Why can't our receivers get open?

What the ?????? I leave pick up my daughter with 1:35 to go before the half we are up 13-3 come back halftime we are down 24-13.

I know I'm going to get blasted for this, but lets be honest..

is there ANYONE on this thread that would have made the
offensive play calls that BoB did in those two series?

Because, there is _no way in hell_ that I make those calls.

I'm handing the ball off going forward (not laterally), throwing
bubble screens or slants (not 5 step drops into the pocket),
OR TAKING DAMNED KNEES!

That was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Fitz is
NOT Brady, so why put him in those situations!

Our line was not giving fitz the time to throw deep -- what the
hell were we even trying to do it for?

Once the score became 13-10 the mission should have been
LIMP INTO HALFTIME without pissing down our own leg.

But DESPITE that, we did exactly the wrong things. We put
the steelers in the best possible position to come back on us
-- and then to stretch out a lead.

IT WAS ABSURD!

I don't pin this all on the defense. The trick steeler touchdown
was well though out and well executed..

I sure hope Obie is never around an ebola patient, because he
sure as hell has no idea how to "stop the bleeding"

You do realize we lost the Cowboy and Colts games, correct? Kinda tired of moral victories.

There is no way slick rick is getting fired. Cal McNair is godfather to his child. That's the secret to job security inspite of ineptitude.
 
1. We are SLOW
2. Cushing and Jjo are now liabilities.
3. I don't miss MS but I do think Case would not be any worse than Fitz.
BOBs fault ne has Fitz, Mallet and Savage as his QBs
4. BOB is stubborn and shows no creativity on offense.
5. I think BOB will say his fault on pass at end of half. Seems I heard that before.
6. Somebody teach 36 how to tackle.
7. Defense will be worn out soon.
