Houston Texans @ Oakland Raiders. 9/14. 3:25. CBS. **Official Gameday Thread**

I am so glad Bullocks is no longer the type of kicker that makes a coach turn around, though not trotting him out for 50+ yard FG's probably helps out a lot.

Bullock kicking this from shortstop deep in the hole. FG is good. #Texans

Just a passing thought. I think we can get comfortable now with Bullock as our kicker. His nerves seems to have gotten over the fact that he isn't in College Station anymore.

In less than 7 quarters in 2014, the Texans have 5 takeaways. They had 11 in all of last season. Hard not to see that as a hopeful sign.

Scoreless through three... please, please, please let's get a shut out in the 4th.

It's not often when you see a defense with such a nearly nonexistent pass rush pitching a shutout after three quarters in the NFL. Shows a team finding other ways to win, which is a good thing. Still, would be nice to see Carr get a little more pressure.

That's the power of creating turnovers and giving the ball to your clock hogging offense. Let's hope the trend continues.

I'm not there yet. I want to wait until we have some actual playoff pressure or games that really mean something first. Not afraid he will miss from 40 on in anymore though.

Wait, if you challenge the spot, it doesn't cost a timeout if the refs got it right??

Been watching D.J. Swearinger on the sideline. In pain. Keeps making a fist and squeezing trainers hand as they hold and look at his elbow.

Living 2000 miles away isn't stopping me from enjoying the game with my boys.

:)

I think those two long sprints by Carr have the guys in rushing to contain mode.

Even the coach of the Raiders sucks. He had all that time to look at the play and then challenged anyways? Wow

The coach and the GM are the main problems. GM can't identify talent and HC can't develop any. The roster is so bad that they signed like 10 FA's this year.
