There are some guys out there like Kupper who hardly got any reps in practice. The line isn't going to be in synch.
 
I'm liking Swagg less and less. Get's burned for 25 yds but wants to strut on a ST play. Maybe ST is where he should stay?

What are the odds we fail to get any points at all in our first preseason game?
Also, what odds that Arizona hits 30?

If so, are we going to be the butt of all of the jokes on all of the sports news outlets for the next 7 days?
 
I'm just now watching the game, but Clowney is flashing. Didn't look good on that TD pass that was called back, but he's never covered before, either.

He's still thinking when it comes to that but damned if he can't get up field quick. When Watt got that sack, he was right there too.

fitzpatrick couldn't look worse.


this is the first game of the season and i am already depressed :(
 
It's still preseason. I'm sure OB didn't expect it to look so bad, but this doesn't mean our season will be wasted any more than it means the Cardinals are going to the Super Bowl.

We look like garbage tonight, with that said,

Lions started 4-0 in the preseason to finish that regular season 0-16. Preseason doesn't mean much but I just wanted to see a glimmer of what to expect this season. Hopefully it's not this..
 
It's not a QB issue when you average 1 penalty per 2 plays.

This offense is multiple -- multiple mistakes across the field.
No one knows what they're doing. Look at the expression on
everyone's face -- look at their body language.

I'm going to get really tired of Obrien, really quickly if we don't
start looking like a pro team soon.

Our defense has clearly taken a step back as well.

The GM is in charge of acquiring talent. The coaching staff is in charge of developing talent. Can't blame the new coaching staff because they just got here. Smith's draft history the last few years is not very good and his FA acquisitions have been spotty at best.

But how did the Lions starters play during those games? I'm looking at how this team is playing and it is horrible. Anyone expecting playoffs (wild card) was fooling themselves. Texans need a miracle.

At least Clowney looked like a beast, even when injured.

BO'B is cracking me up. 1st PS game and he's wanting a faster tempo, blah, blah, blah. He might've been better off forgetting tempo in this game and worry about execution during the play.
Not impressed with the OL so far. End of 1st quarter.
