He has not made that clear. He's made it clear that he doesn't want to attend OTAs. According to the words that came out of his mouth, he's working out whether he wants to be here or not.
There's no magic needed for a man to make up his mind.
I see people retire all the time. It's not much different than what I'm seeing from Andre right now. Our company gives them an option to leave at 58 if they meet other criteria with no penalty. Some guys are ready to take it, some guys aren't. Some guys planned not to take it, but something happened that changed their mind, "You know what, I've had enough."
They can ask to be transferred to another department, & depending on what happened, some do. But for such a big change like this, that Andre is facing... many can't bring themselves to subject themselves to what I'm going to be going through for another year.
Sometimes that decision is made in a day, most of the time, over several months. This one guy in particular is 64, he's day to day. Everyday, he changes his mine at least three times. We know one day we're going to show up & he's going to say, "Suk it beyaotches!!!"
But he's still a good guy. Paid his dues. It's a headache for the bosses, I'm sure, but he's earned it.
