Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars. 12/5. 7:25. NFLN. **Official Game Thread**

Why isn't Kubiak or wade tearing swearinger a new one?

Way to pick up a sack when the QB runs into you Reed.

This game feels almost fixed. I can't believe they gave Jax a first down for taunting when it was 4th down. That's unreal.

Swearinger is directly responsible for the 3 points the Jägs are going to score.

draft a qb and make them earn it. honest open qb competition and whoever wins plays.

That exactly what I think we should do. If we get the first pick you can either trade back or pick Bridgewater or Clowney, those are the 2 top prospects. OLB is a bigger need but this is a QB driven league and once they interview both prospects and look at their consistency Bridgewater will be the pick. Especially if we have a new coach.

Why would he want more time on the clock? That would be stupid.

A team many thought were going 0-16 are now one half away from sweeping Houston.

YEAAA KUBIAK GET FIRED UP OVER TWO SECONDS AND NOT YOUR TEAM INCURRING 110 YARDS OF PENALTIES!!!! YEAA LETS RAGE AT THE SLOW CLOCK!!!!!!

Fire this bum like now.

Worst thing about this is bridgewater struggling against Cincinnati right now.

He only struggles against Memphis, Rutgers, and U of H but no one pays any attention to that, and these are not good defenses.

Bridgewater struggled at the end of the game against UCF (a loss),
struggled most of the game against UH (a 6 point win), and
is doing the same tonight.

I've seen this all year from him. Definitely would pick Clowney over
Bridgewater if I had the #1 pick.

The QB's in this draft all strike me as second round values...

Lol....at home and don't have NFLN so just having a normal night, just saw score on foxsports.com what a FAIL yet somehow expected lol. massive facepalmage

No Teddy B talk until we see him in a bowl game against a tough opponent

Like last year against #3 Florida with 5 NFL players ob the defense? Ok ill be patiently waiting another bowl game like that.

He might be but what's that make Practice Squad Edwards?

A one-trick-pony who can burn most DBs and can track the ball well over his shoulder...and who also has great vision for returns.

But to be fair, chances are Alec Lemon and Andy Cruze are probably better than Martin.

Is this seriously who you want to be your franchise qb?

Are you guys crazy?

Fuqng THANK YOU!

Jeebus....everyone is fapping about Bridgewater and others (not a shot at anyone here, that comment is born from seeing every kind of media from local to national) but to me, only QB's coming out like Luck and RG3 types are fap worthy. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many 1st round and #1 overall pick QB's fail for me to fap over whatever the next fad QB is.

Honestly, Kubiak has lost the team, but Watt or Ninja needs
to go over to Swearinger and slap his damn head back on straight..

The Texans cut it to within one score and had _some_ momentum.
It's all gone now.

Teddy B has no help whatsoever on that team. Put him with NFL talent and he will flourish.

He won't underthrow 10 yard outs.

Real coach would have sat him

Yeppers.

I'm just glad I could also watch the Dallas Stars during this first half. Gawd, that was horrible. They keep saying Jax is finally playing well at home. BS. If they were playing anybody else they'd be getting waxed right now.

Totally forgot, i was gonna make it a point to watch him and see what SOME are all hyped about

Im no scout but ill throw my opinion out there based on the 4th quarter

GO texans!!

Take clowney and sign cutler

Someone please tell Bob McNair that the Texans are no longer on the right track. The Texans can't even see the track from where they are.

The biggest headscratcher of this season is how the Texans
play teams like KC, Indy, and NE tight the entire game --
then stink to high-heaven against teams like Oakland and
Jacksonville.

I just don't get it. How in the hell does that happen?

It has to be mental -- they play loose against teams they are
supposed to lose to and play as tight as a nun's c*nt against
the teams they should beat.

Bridgewater struggled at the end of the game against UCF (a loss)

Not sure why you say this. He led a TD drive in the 4th quarter to take the lead with 3 minutes left. UCF went down and scored to take the lead with 23 seconds left. Not much he could do at that point.

And I'm not absolving him of the last few weeks. He hasn't played close to #1 overall caliber. Just thought that was an odd comment to make considering they took the lead late in the game.

Think about that. We're making the Jacksonville Jaguars look good.

Not only that, we are in the process of giving them their first home win in OVER A YEAR!!!!!

I don't know if Bridgewater is an answer for us. I can understand a lot of Texans' fans QB hungry and seems much greener right next door. However, I would seriously sit back and see if he is really an answer for us. I do not want to see another Carr case with the Texans. I truly hope we make right choice for Texans and us fans.

Go Texans!!!
