GAMEDAY Texans Chargers

He had 2 hands on the ball when it broke the plane.

NFL officiating has officially jumped the shark.

Didnt the head of officiating say that he thinks the CJ catch should have been called a TD?

Yes, logically speaking, but the way the rules are now, they made the correct call for Johnson and also for Foster. Sportscenter will show it again, and there will be renewed calls for a change in the rules....... NEXT season.

I hated that rule with Calvin Johnson and I hate it with AF... he clearly caught the ball, made a football move, stretched the arm and then the ground caused the fumble - it should`ve been a TD before that.

Plus I have Schaub in my FF team and he is killing me - while my opponent has Philip Rivers...

I swear, there was a similar Jacoby Jones play last year in week two against the Titans that had the exact opposite ruling. Make up your damn mind NFL...

This new rule probably sounded good when they were writing it down... but after seeing some live experiences of it this season, they'll probably retract (or re-do) the rule for next season.

On the other side, Foster needs to learn to secure that ball. To be honest, I think he didn't know he was already in the end zone. It looks like he was getting ready to stretch his arms out to get the ball to break the plane.

I love on the CBS highlights they show the Chargers two tds and then as an after thought they say Foster and 2 tds and the Texans have the lead!!!

It happens all the time. The Texans could kick someones ass 48-3 (lol) and the networks would show the other team's FG....and that would be the end of the highlights.

The NFL is turning into the NBA. The refs and their interpretation of the rules means as much as the actual play on the field. It's just getting to the point that I can't stand watching it.

I actually like throwing on first down in the half. Foster had such a monster 1st half, you try to catch them in a run defense.

I love how Foster doesn't try to lower his shoulder and lay a big hit on defenders. He changes his angle and makes defenders try to arm tackle him, which actually breaks more tackles that letting them get a body on him.

If the Texans win it is spite of the coaching staff. Kubiak in his interviews reminds me of Meat the rookie pitcher in Bull Durham. Just spouting words no clue what he is saying. Still pissed of about Monday Night loss.

The CJ catch was in the endzone. I have always been told that if you catch the ball in the field, and anypart of it crosses the goal line that its a TD. Why does Foster have to take it to the ground when it was a TD the instance the nose of the football touches the goal line?

See David Carr QB sneak TD on the Jags. As soon as he crossed the goal line it didnt matter that it got stripped.

Call was BS.

Ward just got 8 on the previous play. what is wrong with it?

People are naturally ignorant and quite forgetful, and love to ***** about anything.

It's like they haven't watch Ward carried a single ball this year; because if they have than they would know that Ward has been just as effective as Foster. And don't say, well Foster has been hot the whole game, and this is the first series Ward is actually getting some work in. We seen numerous times, this season, of Ward taking his first carry for a TD.

Oh btw, who was that who sprayed water on Leinhart back while he was conversing with a coach? lol

I take back everything that I said about this defense looking like they've started to turn things around. They are putrid.
