The backups are doing better than the starters. Johnson and Scharping are playing some solid football. And it helps when your center is not being pushed in the back field almost on every play.

DJ’s like any other back...he needs consistent touches to get going. Where he’s unique is that they could’ve gotten him the ball passing or running. They did neither & He’s had no consistency in anything since coming here.. some of it is b/c of him being out, a lot of it is b/c the playcalling has been sporadic and the interior o-line has been awful...also platooning him in/out with Duke ....trying to get some touches......BoB/the offense people just trying to do too much.
Viewed in that context, it Makes plenty of sense..people forget that opening night he had a pretty good game running the ball against KC.
I'm going to say this has been an entertaining game... not nap worthy unless you're a fan of good defense.
