Yet you don't have all the facts. Yes, we chop-blocked until the rules committee decided (recently, I think last year) to say that it is now 100% illegal. Once that ruling came down, we cut it out of our routine. As did other teams, by the way. Look bro, I think we get maybe one penalty per year for it...and it's because it was such a part of the game (prior to being outlawed) that it's difficult to get that out of your system as a player. It becomes second-nature over time. All teams were employing the chop block from time-to-time because it wasn't officially outlawed.

Being a trash-talking, eye-gouging, ankel-twisting, rib-punching, throat-chopping, helmet-slapping player who always continues past the whistle and tries to sneak in as many dirty tricks as he can is not who AJ is. That's YOUR boy. Not ours.

He broke a record for consecutive seasons with 60+ catches, which is partly why he got the game ball (the other reason is of course, kicking the **** out of Cortland Innegan). He ONLY had 56 receiving yards because Foster was destroying your defense. Nice try, but FAIL.

Chop block is when one offensive lineman stands up a defensive player, and a nearby offensive lineman throws himself into the knees or legs of the stood-up defensive player. IIRC, this is what was outlawed. And until it was outlawed, lots of teams (if not all of them) did it from time to time. Winston was only stating fact when he said 'Yeah, we did it." And that's because other teams' players employed it from time-to-time as well.

The cut block, IIRC, is when the defensive player is not being stood up (he isn't being touched by anybody) and the offensive lineman throws his body downward and at an angle to cut out the legs from underneath the defensive player. This isn't a dirty move. It can hurt a guy's knees, but it isn't "dirty."

Trent Green, QB of the Rams, tried to cut block Travis Johnson and ended up getting knocked out because Travis Johnson's knee smacked into the ear-hole of Green's helmet. Was Travis Johnson angry that Green went after his knee/leg? Yep. Who got the worst of it? Green. So in my book, the cut block is not dirty.

The fact that any "NFL fan" would try to minimize what Innegan does, how the guy goes about playing the game of football, is silly. And to then try to say "Yeah, but your guys are JUSt as dirty" is just 4th Grade shenanigans.

Innegan is a disgrace. He's trying to become the "bad boy" of the NFL and he doesn't realize all that comes with that label. That was cool back in 1985. Today? It doesn't fly. It doesn't register with today's fans. And it doesn't register with Goodell. If there is REAL "justice" then we will learn that Innegan has been suspended and warned that his next altercation results in an even heavier suspension. To me, this is what needs to happen. The guy is clowning and someone finally made a big deal of it and has forced this issue out and into the open. Now the league SHOULD deal with it and deal with it harshly.

There are two opposing players here, with two very different styles of on-field conduct. if the league goes all Politically Correct on Andre Johnson, then I won't be surprised. He threw punches. He got into it with him last year. So there's a history there. The thing that makes the most sense, if AJ DOES have to be suspended, is to suspend him AND Innegan from the nect Texans-Titans game. Show that you can handle it properly and show the two teams that the shenanigans have to end.

He was laughing after the play because that is the natural human response after getting embarrassed in public. You know you can't cry, so you over-compensate by doing the exact opposite to the extreme. His laughing said a lot about how much of a little ***** he is.

Yep, I saw #31 trailing the AJ TD pass play. He was about two zip codes behind AJ. Never had a chance.

You see, Titans fan, if you look at the history of #31 vs. #80, you clearly see that #80 has his way with #31. And he had his way with him when it came to a fight, as well.

You don't even want to see what AJ is going to do in the next Texans/Titans game. He's going to make Innegan want to leave the field and never come back, just like your "superstar" QB did.

I really was preparing myself for an all-out riot. I was seeing the subsequent fallout in the media, all the stories that would be done on the fray. I was scared that it was going to get Ron Artest up in there.

HOUSTON - FOX 26 Sports has learned Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson will be fined for his actions Sunday involving Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan, but Johnson will not be suspended.

It is not known what further punishment will be handed down to Finnegan.

Huge news for the Texans because that means their All-Pro receiver will be able to play when Houston takes on the Eagles Thursday night in Philadelphia.

Any further disciplinary action for Johnson and Finnegan will stem from their altercation in the fourth quarter of the Texans 20-0 victory at Reliant Stadium.

Both players were ejected from the game.

Finnegan initiated the fight when he hit Johnson in the facemask seconds after the ball was snapped. Johnson retaliated and both players ripped each other's helmets off.

Johnson would land several punches before the referees intervened.

Multiple sources told FOX 26 Sports prior to the fight Finnegan looked at the Texans sidelines and said, "watch this."

If he is only fined, then Innegan looks even more stupid. You tried to bait him into a suspension, and you couldn't even do that correctly.

There's no point in arguing with Titan fans. They're beyond clueless. Amid all of the defending of Finnegan, they haven't realized that they didn't manage to score a single point yesterday. That would disturb me more than anything. They probably don't care.

That blow up was built up over 4 seasons of BS play by Finnegan. On top of that Finnegan was playing dirty and trash talking all game long.

Since Cortland Finnegan joined the Titans in 2006, Andre Johnson has averaged 7 receptions for 100 yards and a TD against you guys.

He had 7 receptions for 46 yards and a TD in the first half putting us up 14-0. The second half, our strategy was to run out the clock. Something like 80% of our second half plays were either Runs or short passes to our RBs.

AJ wasn't shut down during that game. Yall just couldn't do anything to stop Foster from running all over you.
 
I just wish that upper cut would've landed a bit more solid, leaving a nice gash to be stitched up. That way he would be forever reminded of his beat down at the hands of AJ.
