Exactly. Spencer and Winston are both rather versatile. Adding Thomas could fix multiple positions.

We also need to develop the young talent we have rather than throw them on the scrap heap every year. Even at right tackle Winston looks every bit as bad today as Wand's worst day in 2004. Should we label him a bust and scrap him?

Draft a couple more and stick with the youngsters. Don't rely on Wiegert, Flanagan, and Salaam types any more - that just slows team o-line development and they aren't very good either.
 
The VW ''Safe Happens" commercial is making a run at the ''This is our country" commercial for times shown.
 
If they had a game of the week for the crappiest game, this would be a alltime classic

who's going to win.........Jimmy or Timmy, at this point who cares. Even if we win this game, it will feel like a loss. I'm scared about some of the things I've seen from this game.
 
Seems like we can see why these teams have the records they do. Neither O-line is very good (oaklands better than ours) and the QB play is poor. Defenses are so-so and the special teams pretty bad. (other than the Mathis run)

This is why we need to add more young talent. We need depth as much as we need starters. Right now we have a very bad mix of over the hill players and horribly inexperianced players on the o-line.

For fun NFL Network really should put this on as one of the replay games.
 
Even if we win this game, we have nothing to be proud of. Oakland is horrible. I almost dread the idea of winning then listening to the players and coaches talk about the progress we've made.
 
I must say, a win is a win. If we can play this horribly and win, that would be great. I'll be much more happy if we win than if we lose.

from now on people won't say "we suck" they will say "we texans" ....."we texans so bad"....."I've never seen a team texans this bad"...
